It's been 10 days since my installation. I called about the exterior trim coming off and foam vomiting out of my window on the day it was installed and two more times since. One window won't stay open. Another window has a 13" crack. I still haven't received a call from anyone after 10 days to schedule the repair.
He said that there was supposed to be some follow-up and someone from Champion was going to contact me, and that never happened. The guy that put in the windows said that when Champion originally put the windows in, that it was not put in as good as it could have been. He was going to recommend that they come in and redo the area around the windows to make it better, and there was no followup on that.
The windows were sold to me on the basis that they would arrive in 8-10 but, they arrived 22 weeks. This was unacceptable.
Based upon the entire experience, I would have trouble recommending Champion. I should have bought windows that were not the half and half style. They should have been the 1/3 - 2/3 style and I know the sales rep didn't even offer that. The previous windows were 1/3-2/3 so he changed the style. The installer did a VERY s-l-o-w install. He came and didn't begin for almost 2 hours. The clean-up was horrible windows still dirty and lots of vinyl shavings inside the window sills. I would not recommend them because of their lack of communication.
I started the project, but they took 3 to half months to complete the project. It took them to August 13, 2021, and I started the project April 19, 2021, When starting the project, it took them another month in half to get a response from Champion Windows Of Colorado Spring. Champion Windows Of Colorado Springs, the management aspect, was not satisfied. Lack of communication and lack of not completing the project in a timely manner.
