I can't speak to other reviewers experiences with Dr. Eviatar, but I can relate my own. I saw him years ago after a personal tragedy left me gaunt and sad looking. People would stop me on the street and asked me what was wrong. I felt very vulnerable. He truthfully turned the sallow look to one of a healthy and happ(ier) person. I have been a patient since 2006. I first went for LASIK, and have since gone back for cosmetic procedures. I decided to go to Chelsea Eye Associates for LASIK in 2006 after hearing recommendations from my colleague and her husband. Dr. Coad did a great job with my LASIK. My vision was awful before the surgery (-4.75) and was perfect after the surgery. The LASIK process seems scary, but Dr. Coad and team made the process surprisingly relaxing. I have been a patient since I was 16, now at 28 I still come to NY for a visit to get my eyes examined. It has certainly changed since I started ( with an expanded practice, new Dr.'s, and updated facility ) Dr Coad is a brilliant guy who really loves the field of work he's in and extends his high end Chelsea practice to pro bono work and Dr's without borders. I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to add much to A.J.'s review from 8/6/2011. I've also had a fantastic experience with Dr. Coad and Anna Taylor. I've been going to ophthalmologists since I was two years old but have never had such a friendly, concentrated, and concerned level of care as I got from Chelsea Eye. I recently underwent LASIK surgery at Chelsea eye. My doctor was Dr. Coad, his assistant was Anna Taylor. They are both WONDERFUL. So professional, informative, courteous and kind. Anna was always instant in her response to any questions/concerns I had leading up to the surgery, and all pre- surgery tests were a pleasure as they were prompt, efficient and conducted with so much care and and a sense of personal treatment. I have being going to Chelsea Eye for eye check up for about 6 years now...Dr Aviatar used to check my eyes, but the last few visits was with Dr Sazzari, and I thought she was curteous, thuru, and professional. I always like the front desk girls too. I have been going to Chelsea Eye & Cosmetic Surgery Associates for over 10 years. My procedures have ranged from eye examinations to brow and eyelid surgery to botox treatments and other facial fillers. Dr. Eviatar is AMAZING! I get compliments all the time on how "refreshed" I look and have referred many friends. Every person who has gone to Chelsea Eye & Cosmetic Surgery Associates has been thrilled with their natural looking results. While Chelsea Eye really helped me out with a couple of emergencies (which bumps them up to 3 stars rather than 2), I ultimately stopped going here because every time I called, the latest doctor they had assigned me to had left the practice. I want to stay with a consistent eye doctor, not a revolving door. They're also very hard-sell with the LASIK surgery, no matter how many times I told them no. Annoying administration policies with no appointment reminders either.

Well, I can't attest to all the services they provide here, but I had a very good experience with Dr. Coad and my LASIK corrective surgery. It's been awhile since I had it done (2005 I think), so I can't really remember all the attitude from the staff that so many of the reviewers have been mentioning, but overall I feel that I got excellent service.
