Had LASIK here 2 weeks ago and it was awesome. Christine and Dr. Coad are amazingly caring and knowledgable. Following my surgery I had a few questions I emailed over about recovery and Christine answered all emails within a matter of minutes -- even on the holiday weekend! That's amazing service. She also offers for you to call her mobile phone with any questions at any time. I'd definitely refer anyone to Dr. Coad and Christine!
If you are considering Lasik you have found your doctor. I had Lasik surgery yesterday and can see 20/20 now without glasses or contacts. The service is amazing. From my first contact via e-mail to my consultation, to pre-op meeting, to surgery, to follow up - it has all been so easy and informative. I can only recommend this place. Christine and dr. Coad made the decision to get LASIK very easy and the experience couldn't have been better. Everything was smooth and professional. I am very happy I chose this place and no longer have to wear glasses.
Let's be honest. There are a million "injection salons" in NYC. It goes with the territory of living in a big city, so when you find one who really "get's you, you tend to stick around. Lynn Wojton, RN saved my eyes, health & sanity from a Restylane disaster. A month ago I had Restylane injected by a PS in Bev Hills to correct the hollows around my eyes. After a black eye and 3 weeks of severe pain and swelling, I ended up with a horrible worm-like bulge under my left eye by my nose, obstructing my nasal passage. On August 28, 2013 I had eye Lasik surgery performed by Doctor Coad. It was my first surgery in my whole life and I was extremely nervous. Dr. Coad and Christine made me feel calm and they were fully available to me with any question and concerns. They are true professionals and a great team working like a Swiss watch. On top of all, they never pressured me to do the surgery. By noon the next day I was back to work. Currently, after a month I am really happy with my vision and can see like an eagle.
I was hoping I could leave a totally separate review for Jeannel Astarita, the Aesthetician Goddess at Chelsea Eye, but they are only allowing me to edit my original review for other services I had starting in July. I've been going to Chelsea Eye about once a month since June. I am of the age when things could use a little tweaking but not yet ready for the knife. I have seen Lynn 3 times for Botox. I was very nervous about this procedure and asked Lynn a ton of questions during our consultation. She patiently answered every single question, put me at ease, and didn't make me feel rushed. Before seeing Lynn I had very deep crows feet and felt like I always looked tired.
