Our first experience with CFC was in early November 2020 when we took Tucker, our 12 year old Maine coon mix to see Dr. Smith. Tucker was afraid to eat and would run away every time food was placed in front of him. He would drool and had the most foul breath, so it was time to take him in. Dr. Smith immediately diagnosed him with stomatitis and recommended the removal of 14 back teeth. We agreed to the procedure and an appointment was set for the following week. Bringing Tucker home after the procedure was not a pretty sight... read more

Dr. Anna Smith was a god send on Friday. I had an emergency with one of my cats who had a swollen or blocked salivary gland. It had swelled up to where it was displacing her tongue and she could not eat. Needless to say I was a bit panicked and my regular vet could not squeeze us in as they only work a half day on Friday. CFC got me in @ 2pm. I had my vet fax over her records, they promptly get her in while I filled out the simple paperwork. In 15 minutes the Vet called me to say she had used a needle to drain it and th... read more

This is a wonderful practice of warm-hearted doctors and staff. Two and a half years ago, one of the technicians at Civic Feline asked me to look into my kitty's weight loss because it wasn't noticeable (she's a large ragdoll with long hair) but had been trending down. She said it might indicate cancer or something serious. I am ever so grateful for the warning. My then 15 year old baby did in fact have lymphoma. Because of the early warning I got and the fact that we acted immediately, kitty - now 17 - is still going strong... read more

I'm so lucky to have found Civic Feline and to live so close! When I moved to Walnut Creek about a year ago I was looking for the perfect clinic to bring my little Charlie and was so happy to know they only work with cats. I've had bad experiences taking Charlie to vets with other animals because he gets scared especially with dogs. Although Civic Feline is slightly pricier than other vets I've gone to it's worth the money because they truly care about the cats they work with. I now have two cats, Rey and Charlie, and recen... read more

We have been clients for 25 years with all our cats, but lately less than happy. The doctors and staff still seem caring for the pets, but costs have gone through the roof. They push/recommend only products that they carry; they don't mention in advance the costs of recommended tests/treatment, and they use many more tests than ever before. We have stayed because we really like the cats-only atmosphere, but their pricing and people skills could use some work. We would love to go back to rating them 5 star.

I love civic feline clinic. I've seen all of the Dr's, and they and the staff have been great. I have 4 cats and it's comforting to know that they specialize in cats and are very knowledgeable. I don't feel like they nickel and dime you or try to pressure you into optional extras. I just wish I could bring my dog here too! Sometimes it's challenging to get an appointment that works with my schedule.

Civic Feline Clinic is technically my back-up vet, but the vets there have always been excellent and my babies have always come home healthy and happy. Many years ago a friend of mine's mother was a veterinarian there and I adopted one of my cats, my sweet little Maddie (may she RIP), through her and I've gone there as my secondary vet since. I trust the vets there and have always been provided with excellent service.

Felix had 3 teeth removed; no complications, no over pricing and excellent level of care.
