Fantastic service, staff was kind I didn't feel rushed during our appointment and felt that they had my pets, best interest.
Every single person who works at the Civic Feline Clinic goes above and beyond, and always does more than they have to... from the people at the front desk, to the doctors and everyone else in the office. They clearly care about every single animal they see. They have saved my cat's life twice now! They have stayed late to ensure I could pick up medication. I just came back home from our first appointment at Civic Feline Clinic. We were seen by Dr. Olsen and she was awesome. Very patient with my cat and also with me, as I had a looot of questions. All staff was friendly and there was no wait time. I filled out all forms online and sent over the vet history of my cat. All costs were clearly communicated upfront, so no surprise when it was time to check out and pay.
We went for a wellness exam with our little Alvin and they were so nice! We made sure to ask about the prices for everything the vet recommended and Dr. Olsen was very upfront and showed us a breakdown of everything so we had no surprises of the total. She made us feel very comfortable and answered all of our questions without any judgment whatsoever.
I'm VERY happy with my experiences at Civic. They are absolutely top notch! They have cared for three of our cats, all rescues, and each one with different health issues. The Veterinarians, Manager, Vet techs, and Staff are all thorough, super thoughtful, and conscientious. They care so much about their clients and their client's kitties. Milos had an awesome first appointment here! We have lived in San Francisco, where I rescued him from SFPCA and New York, where he went to the Cat Practice and now are in Walnut Creek! I'm both SF and NY he did fine at the vet. We tried one other highly rated vet in Danville, but did not have a great experience there as they are very focused on dogs and are still only allowing drop offs which does not work well for my cat. Very happy with my experience here. I brought in a stray cat who had gotten really sick. I liked that I could just drop him off and go back to work. The vet proposed a reasonable course of action and asked me if I wanted to run an additional test. I'm that kind of person so I said yes. I like that they have lab capabilities right there and can get the results right away. This place is the best veterinary for cats! Our elder cat (12 years) was in bad shape with weak legs due to arthritis. After receiving two recommended treatments he's doing better than ever! I'm totally recommending this place to anyone with cat children!
I brought my kitty in yesterday morning for an annual wellness exam, he was long overdue for vaccines and was as nervous as I was to get updated! Thankfully, neither Katsu or I had anything to worry about. While Katsu cries during his transport to and from the clinic, inside the hospital I could see a change in his behavior right away.
