So a note to my previous review that accused Feline Cat Clinic to be expensive - I was wrong. In terms of my previous review and the quote of$500 for cat teeth cleaning I thought expensive - in all fairness to FCC- that is the NORMAL rate for Walnut Creek. I checkedALL the reputable facilities in the area and FCC was the LEAST expensive. For a cat cleaning with lower being no extractions - the range has been 800-2200 - the later being a lot of extractions!!! Wow. These guys are absolutely amazing. I just had a baby and had to spend the week in the nicu due to complications, and the night we came home, my beloved kitty jumped on the bed and I could tell immediately that something just wasn't right. I rushed him to a late night clinic. They were awful. The next day he still wasn't better so took him to a 24hour clinic, and found out he had eaten some sort of string and was now stuck in his intestines and needed surgery immediately, but that vet would charge more than I could affor... read more
This place is the best! Not only is the staff knowledgeable and pleasant, but you can tell they genuinely care about your cat's health. It's comforting to bring our four-year-old orange tabby to someone who specializes in feline care. And if that weren't enough motivation to choose the Civic Feline Clinic, their mostly feline clientele allows them to let the resident kitties roam free around the waiting room for customers to hang out with. I cannot express enough gratitude to this veterinary clinic. They were of amazing support to me when it was time to put my 18 year old beloved cat, Atilla the Hungry, to sleep. :-( Everyone was so very caring and comforting. They have been wonderful with my other sphynx kitty, as well. I would highly highly recommend this vet clinic to anyone in the bay area. Now that I have moved to southern Cali, I only hope to find another clinic of such high caliber.

I recently brought one of my cats to go see Dr. Roach. My cats normally see Dr, Ellis but I wasn't able to bring her in during her office hours so my cat saw Dr. Roach. Dr. Roach is great as well. Dr. Roach is great! One of my kitties has a couple health issues that require regular care, and Dr. Roach has been vigilant and responsive in always getting back to me about my concerns. When my cat had to go to the emergency vet one weekend, she called me at the beginning of that week when she saw the records the emergency vet faxed over, to check in and create a plan to get my kitty healthy. I've been to many vets over my years of pet ownership. I have taken my two cats to this fantastic establishment a few times now for shots, checkups and small surgeries. I will never take my cats anywhere else but the Civic Feline Clinic from now on. The wonderful staff that work there are knowledgeable, thorough, efficient and they truly love cats.
