I got a call from Clear Rate on Friday and was told that they were working with Frontier...taking over their billing and would be lowering our rates from $70 per line to $40 and another percentage discount. I told her I didnt receive any info from Frontier on this and she told me that the info was sent out earlier in the year and was probably just thrown out. Watch out for these guys. I was promised a 30% reduction off Frontier prices with improvements in service. What I got was a 50% reduction in Internet speed and a 11% increase in monthly charges. After calling they offered a substantial reduction in rates if I went voice over internet for calling. This won't work since they already reduced internet speed by 50% we cannot call and use the credit card machine at the same time.

This company had a friend of mine 98 years old who speaks little if no English by giving her a good rate of $30 per month. First month billing was $30 as told it would be, second month $41 and by the third month $51. At this point I called customer service to enquire about the high bill, as the surcharges and fees were $21. My mother,84 years old has received threats, no internet , land line phone, well over 100.00, a month, scam, crooks, Beware !

This company presents themselves as Frontier, but they are not. An agent from Clear Rate impersonated themselves as being from Frontier and even had our account information. They needed to make a confirmation call to the business line where I'm employed and again presented themselves as Frontier. Yesterday, which was about a week later, the main business line doesn't work. I called Frontier and they had no idea who called me with the account information. A man from clear rate called me saying they were taking over all of frontiers customers. They promised me nothing was going to change and I had to get it done before any charges would be added to my bill. Frontier has no idea why they are calling people saying any of this stuff. They can't help WV people period. Only with internet not our land lines. I've been without a phone for 14 days. Just so I could try to get my same number I've had for 20 plus year's. I want a lawyer!

The absolute worst customer service experience we have ever had. My Mother died. I tried to get the service shut off. They had to get paperwork sent to them showing that I had authority for the account. I sent the paperwork. I had to pay for three months of service on a phone that they had suspended the account on (turned off the service except for 911). Not even one "I'm sorry for your loss" by anyone. This company is a scam. Please don't fall for their sales pitch. They have nothing to do with Century Link or any other telephone company. The sales pitch sounds good but it is absolutely a scam.

They are terrible. It is a bait and switch operation. I was told that they were Frontier Small Business and can get me the same service for the same price. The internet is half the speed from Frontier if it is even working. Had 3 - 4 multiple day outages in the last 2 months. Do not switch to them....
