After looking online, and at all the Jewelry stores around, I was not finding what I wanted in an engagement ring. I did not want the cookie cutter ring. Went to Tyson's Corner Mervis to get a diamond for my lovely fiancé. Rahul did a great job picking out some diamonds, and Zed Mervis sent over the perfect diamond for the ring. Definitely will be back for all diamonds needs! A+

The folks at Mervis were extremely helpful to me in navigating the engagement ring process. Nancy C. explained all the different diamonds, cuts, carats, clarity, etc, in clear and concise terms. She was also very helpful in helping me understand which of the diamond cuts would match best with the setting I chose. My fiance was extremely pleased with the ring. We recently went back to Nancy @ Mervis to purchase our wedding bands. Mervis and Nancy made the whole process easy.

I purchased a setting from Mervis and had a really good experience. Other commenters have said that you need to have an idea of what you're looking for when you walk in because they sit you in a room and don't show you many options, but I actually liked the privacy. I was able to walk in, give a general description of what I was looking for, see some alternatives, and improve my understanding without feeling pushed around. I frequently know what I want and so I walked into Mervis knowing I was looking for a beautiful Verragio engagement ring. I first took my lady with me to get properly sized and to "browse" around. Now, this is more of an upscale jewelry store in my opinion and I knew what to expect. Surely I was prepared for at least some sort of judging as with most jewelry stores. I bought my fiance her engagement ring at Mervis about 2 months ago. She loved the ring which is important to her and me both, but what was the most important thing to me was the way in which I was handled by the sales staff. Nancy Choi was the salesperson who helped me through my purchase. I bought my fiancée's engagement ring from Kris Greenwell at Mervis, and we both could not have been happier with the ring and his service. He was knowledgeable and honest, and even fought to get us a price on a diamond that was virtually equal to wholesale price so that we could get it all done through Mervis. When there was a snafu with the timing of the shipping (not his fault), he again fought for us and got it UPS'ed on Saturday delivery. Mervis has excellent customer service and they're very good at working with your needs and what you're looking for. They have specialized consultants that are very professional. We found an amazing diamond from them at an incredible price. I highly suggest them!
