I bought my fiancée's engagement ring from Kris Greenwell at Mervis, and we both could not have been happier with the ring and his service. He was knowledgeable and honest, and even fought to get us a price on a diamond that was virtually equal to wholesale price so that we could get it all done through Mervis. When there was a snafu with the timing of the shipping (not his fault), he again fought for us and got it UPS'ed on Saturday delivery. A friend suggested Mervis after I had already placed a deposit on a stone from another dealer. I was a little intimidated going to a diamond jeweler in downtown D.C., but my experience was absolutely wonderful! I did not experience any of the issues that the other reviewers had. The service at Mervis is beyond compare! My husband bought me diamond stud earrings for our five year anniversary and was helped by Tina, Jeremy, and Zed - and yet again, he had a great experience!! I searched everywhere to find a ring that wasnt a "cookie-cutter" style of ring and I was very frustrated that I couldnt find THE RING. My fiance suggested I make a trip to Mervis based on a friends recommendation. I was so glad I did.
