There are so many places to shop for fine jewelry whether it's in stores or online. But if you are looking for one-on-one personal detailed attention with a professional and knowledgeable staff, don't go anywhere except for Mervis at 1700 K Street, NW. Emilie worked with me on two separate purchases because I was so pleased with her patience and knowledge. I even asked for a stack of her business cards to give to my friends and family. When you find excellent customer service, you want to spread the word.
I bought my wedding band from here. The first one had diamonds pop out and they gave me credit to buy another one. I bought another one that had the same problem. They replace the small diamonds for $100 feet but the product is so poor quality that it continues to pop out. Finally they fixed my engagement ring and replaced a small diamond with a diamond that is significantly worse clarity and color than the others. Really poor quality and I've lost all trust.
I didn't work directly with him, but my husband said Robert at the Rockville, Maryland location was absolutely the best. Since it was a surprise for me, my husband handled everything and worked with Robert by himself. I love the ring!!
My engagement and wedding rings needed to be resized. Kris Greenwell was super helpful through the entire process of getting the rings evaluated and an estimate to resize them. Kris answered all my questions patiently and communicated throughout the process. I am so happy to be able to wear my beautiful rings again after more than 5 years!
Bought diamond stud earrings for my wife for our wedding anniversary. Bianca helped me pick out a nice pair of real (as opposed to lab) diamonds. Bianca was patient and thoughtful. She answered all my questions and didn't try to steer me to anything I didn't want. It was a very easy and pleasant experience. Highly recommend Mervis. Great value and service.
