A friend suggested Mervis after I had already placed a deposit on a stone from another dealer. I was a little intimidated going to a diamond jeweler in downtown D.C., but my experience was absolutely wonderful! I did not experience any of the issues that the other reviewers had. The service at Mervis is beyond compare! My husband bought me diamond stud earrings for our five year anniversary and was helped by Tina, Jeremy, and Zed - and yet again, he had a great experience!! I searched everywhere to find a ring that wasnt a "cookie-cutter" style of ring and I was very frustrated that I couldnt find THE RING. My fiancee purchased my ring last week and proposed last night...the ring is beautiful and I am so happy! He said he had an amazing experience here and will be writing a review as well. My review is only of the diamond, which is amazing. Square radiant diamond with a white gold band.
