I went to Mervis to buy an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I knew that they worked with Veraggio and thats what I went to go buy. I was incredibly nervous when I walked in but was quickly helped by Maria Kamali. Had a great experience with the Rockville Mervis, in particular our sales associate, Kris. He was extremely responsive, patient and helpful through email, phone calls and in person. He helped my boyfriend and I find the perfect diamond that was in our budget. He was not pushy or offput at all by my indecisiveness, which was greatly appreciated.
PROS: Friendly, professional staff. Very accommodating; they want you to be happy and they will do everything they can to make that happen. My fiancé and I strongly recommend Brenda Friedman! CONS: Beware of in-store resizing! While their staff may know what they're doing (in terms of extensive diamond and metal knowledge), I am not convinced that their jeweler(s) is at the same level. Mervis is the cream of the crop. I had great experience here, everything was timely and the staff is eager to help you through the process, even for a first timer. Their stuff is gorgeous too. Would highly recommend!
When it comes to professionalism, Mervis Diamond is at the top of the class. Their Tysons Corner location is elegant and inspiring. I bought a Tacori engagement ring from Mervis back in July, more specifically from Michael Morgenrood and it was one of the easiest experiences I ever had! My fiance absolutely loved the ring and has gotten numerous compliments on how much it sparkles. I had done some research beforehand and came in with a general idea of what I wanted. A large, well-laid out and beautiful store with a gorgeous selection and dedicated, helpful staff. I haven't been lucky enough to purchase anything here yet, but I have had a truly wonderful browsing experience during one of their trunk shows (champagne, chocolate, and diamonds - what more could a girl want?) and I would have no hesitation about going back to buy. I bought a diamond ring 15 years ago from them. I now live in another state. a prong broke off. I called and spoke to Jordan S. He asked me to send a photo in. Minutes later he called me with a repair estimate. The repair was less than 500 dollars, and I was treated like I was buying a 20K diamond ring and not just a minor repair. I came into this Mervis location in Tysons Corner with questions and anxiety. I was astonished at how beautiful the location was and how helpful everyone seemed.
