I bought my fiancee's engagement ring at Mervis last year and have no regrets. While it's cheaper to buy one at a chain store, for an important ring such as an engagement one, I highly recommend an independent diamond importer, such as Mervis. Their customer service is excellent and they give you all the information you need when deciding a purchase.
