I started with this company when I received their letter. The original phone call told me they would start negotiating in 2 months - NOT TRUE. I was later told I had to change banks because they cannot negotiate with my bank since the credit cards are associated with it. They take an awful lot of money only to leave you having to go through collection calls and demand letters for a long time (to prove hardship). If theres an option for negative starts I would choose it. My experience was a lot like many on here Im sure, and am kicking myself for not looking into them more from the start. I enrolled several cards and they negotiated most them however one could not be settled and it led me to being sued!!When I alerted credit associates about it they told me to send in the documents and that theyd contact me if needed and that theyd be handling it from there. Scam. Working with them made my credit situation worse. And of the ******* I put into their debt "savings" only $661.00 made it to my creditors. They kept the rest....non profit, sure!! And my credit sank another 150 points. I could have done bad all by myself! Now I'm deeper in the whole, and screwed out of $1000.00. It even took me 3 calls and about 1.5 hours to even get through to cancel.

Received a Letter in the mail re: debt reduction. Of course, who wouldn't want debt reduction!Thought more research was at hand...after all could always phone the number listed in the letter a 2nd time...NOT!Research proved this is not legitimate! You make payments to Credit Associates but they NEVER MAKE PAYMENTS TO CREDITORS causing more debt and lawsuits from creditors!!! DO NOT USE CREDIT ASSOCIATES!

Creditt associates es una empresa de estafadores, despus de 4 meses de haberles pagado mas de $2000 para negociar con mis acreedores nunca llegaron a un acuerdo con ninguno de ellos y mi dinero que supuestamente debe estar en una cuenta de global golden a mi nombre ya no estaba decid retirarme del programa y no me devolvieron *************. Credit associates is a scam. They take your money and they don't work for you. Been fighting for over 2 months to get them to make last payment to chase they did not and keep giving me run around. They canceled **** of America instead of paying them they took my ****** dollars that should of went to them. I am either getting a lawyer or they have to pay me what I paid thinking my stuff was paid off.

Credit Associates goal is not to make it better for you its to make money off of you, for nine months I made payments two of my account they were making payments on I just so happy to go online and look at my account and those two accounts are back to the the original amount with no movement and another account is started with payments so I called them and they lie there is no money to make payments so where is the money and how can you start another account if there is no money to make payment on the ones you been paying on... read more

Please dont waste your time and money!! They are a ripoff. Only put $5,$10 on your bill but take hundreds from you weekly. And willnt give you any refund back if you cancelled. Get your own savings account and set up a budget with your creditor.
