My experience with Credit Associates has been beyond murky. They lure you in with a low estimated amount, but expect to pay thousands more after negotiating either a larger monthly payment or by extending your plan. The dashboard gives you iffy information to begin with, so I started tracking my own numbers ((settlement amount + their fee)-(total payments). Please RETHINK your decision if you are considering their services. What they won't tell you is that you start off with fixed monthly rate BEFORE they start negotiations with your creditors. Once an amount is settled, then what they'll do is add on to your monthly amount and spread it over a specified period of time. If you have multiple accounts, then they'll tack on more and that starting monthly payment grows. It might be significant depending on the number of accounts that you're looking to settle. Guys if I can give this company no stars at all I would. Please consider speaking and negotiating something with your credit cards before doing anything with this company. At first they will be really nice hear your problems to get you to work with them once you start with them and have given them your money, you will not even get a call back from them. They took out more money from my account than they should have and now they wont even return it. They told me not to answer any calls from my credit cards, they froze all my ... read more

*****. ************ is a scam. I have been trying to contact them and I have tried every phone number on their website. All go to a busy tone and disconnect. Don't know how they have the rating they have. RUN!!! and avoid at all costs!!!!

I joined Credit Associates in May of 2023. They assured me my debt would be paid for at a reduced rate by 2027. I paid them ****** a month and raised that amount to ****** a month about 7or 8 payments ago.Out of my ****** dollars in debt they negotiated with 4 credit card companies and were paying them very small amounts. of money monthly. I was sued by two creditors recently because they never paid tthem a dime. The others are just hanging out there as well. i am having the greatest difficulty with credit associates. When I started the account, I opened it up for my father who fell ill with Parkinsons dementia and is now living in this full-time skilled nursing facility and cannot talk. The lady who I open the account with Number no longer works so I was concerned I was scammed.
