Credit Associates sent an offer by mail for debt relief. I spoke to *********** verbally assured me that they will be able to help me in my situation. Once I was enrolled with them, they began drafting money from my account while telling me that it is going to get worse before it gets better. This company is a data broker scam. Do not take this offer, you will give them personal info end up paying more. I keep receiving these letters and it's embarrassing because it suggests I have burdening credit debt that I want forgiven, and I don't. To stop receiving the letters I decided to opt-out by phone. At the very least, some random company now has my phone number, name and address, which they can now sell to other companies or use to steal more data. This whole enterprise should be illegal.

They say they will save you ~50% in settling your accounts, but this doesn't take into account the 25% fee they take only saving you ~25% in the end. You can get a better deal just negotiating with creditors directly. They also incorrectly removed one of my accounts (without my knowledge) which I'm now being sued for. This is after they already took a $2000 "success" fee, which they refuse to refund **** wish I could go back in time and tell myself to never engage with these people. Credit Associates keeps sending me mails, i have called and sent several mail-opt-out-org. but every month i still get a mail in the box. if you have done your research .Information should have reached you that my credit card was paid off last year. if you dont agree to **************** from your system i dont have any other choice but report your company to ************************.

mailers come every month listing creditors I don't have with balance over ****** more than my actual debt. they need to stop sending to people who don't ask for it.

I just left a review, but it is not posted, so here we go again.Credit associates did not tell me about the 25 percent that they charge which they take up front and they said that the amount wouldn't change or the duration of the ***********'s a shame that we have agencies such as BBB and still very little protection for the lay people of this nation: must be like the ***.

Won't stop mailing me loan offers. That's not the worst part. In order to get them to stop you have to go to a website on the letters they send, but in order to use the website, you need to pay. If you call the phone number on the letters, to opt out of future mailings, it says "give us the reference number after the tone" then NO tone plays. Eventually you realize one isn't going to play and you just say the reference number, and then their phone system hangs up on you. This happened to me repeatedly from different phone de... read more

I am drowning in fees with you guys.....complete rip off of MY funds when you consider all the other payments made directly to you!!
