Although I was not able to use CreditAssociates services, still, I like to recommend them. After joining CreditAsociates, I realized that due to my financial situation that what they offer would not be suitable for what I need at this time. I'm so happy I decided not to go with this company, after reading the reviews. Once the lady told me not to pay my credit cards for 3 months while there negotiations that had me thinking hard and knowing if I didn't pay it would ruin my credit while wait5on them. Nope decided I would keep pushing through and paying the minimum amount until I can do better. She thought she could talk me into it but it didn't work. I told her I might be drowning in debt but I'm not dead yet lol!!!

**Extremely disappointing experience I would not recommend Credit Associates.**I signed up with Credit Associates because I was looking for genuine help getting out of debt. Credit Associates sent an offer by mail for debt relief. I spoke to *********** verbally assured me that they will be able to help me in my situation. Once I was enrolled with them, they began drafting money from my account while telling me that it is going to get worse before it gets better. The creditor reached out to me and I told them I was with Credit Associates and was not interested in negotiating with them directly since I was assured (after being given a runaround) that Credit associates was handling the issue. This company is a data broker scam. Do not take this offer, you will give them personal info end up paying more. I keep receiving these letters and it's embarrassing because it suggests I have burdening credit debt that I want forgiven, and I don't. To stop receiving the letters I decided to opt-out by phone. At the very least, some random company now has my phone number, name and address, which they can now sell to other companies or use to steal more data. This whole enterprise should be illegal.

They say they will save you ~50% in settling your accounts, but this doesn't take into account the 25% fee they take only saving you ~25% in the end. You can get a better deal just negotiating with creditors directly. They also incorrectly removed one of my accounts (without my knowledge) which I'm now being sued for. This is after they already took a $2000 "success" fee, which they refuse to refund **** wish I could go back in time and tell myself to never engage with these people. Credit Associates keeps sending me mails, i have called and sent several mail-opt-out-org. but every month i still get a mail in the box. if you have done your research .Information should have reached you that my credit card was paid off last year. if you dont agree to **************** from your system i dont have any other choice but report your company to ************************.
