When this organization first originated I would assume 30+ years ago it probably was a godsend. But over the last decade or longer it is just been a for profit organization. Funding is through Ryan White, Riverside County Health and Human Services and other grants. they used to provide their clients up until May 2019 a $50 month gift card to Stater brothers that has been eliminated due to the state of California now giving food stamps to those that don't make enough money. The only reason DAP gets 2 stars is that, for some, this place may be their last hope, and, be "adequate" enough and grossly needed. For the rest of us. Don't expect you'll get anywhere. They are understaffed and "undercaring". Don't expect returned calls or emails from the many contacts that you may need to require here. I won't name names, but "if the shoe fits, wear it!" Clearly, most of you need to change employers.

They WORST place to get a knowledgeable Real Dr. have to say my experience was below -0 percent . They could not get my blood work because I did not use there " preferred blood place they send you too" and because you use your one they say , they did not get all the test they requested. BS They are below expertise of any health professionals

Since I have been a patient of DAP, it has been very frustrating to even get the referral. DAP always says they do not get it and the healthcare facility sending it is always correct in sending it and can actually provide me with the authorization number of the referral. What is the problem? It is with the young lady that works at The Dock. I had a F/U visit about 4-6 weeks ago. This place is GARBAGE ABSOLUTE GARBAGE I was 5 minutes late for an appointment and they told me that I have to be 15 minutes early and they asked the doctor if he would see me and he said no this is ridiculous what nonsense they think because they serve marganilized groups that they can treat us this way I now have to come back in a week this is ridiculous and they will punish me! I have been using DAP for HPV checkups for the last year. The first problem is that they kept loosing the referral from my Doctor. Actually my PCP said make a visit to DAP in person because they are so disorganized and I did. The health care professional that treated me and did a procedure is referred by the center as a Dr. He is either an Nurse Practitioner or a Physicians Assistant. The staff at this facility lack compassion and professionalism. I provided management with a laundry list of complaints regarding Dr. Singh which was acknowledged but ignored. She was so hostile on my first visit that I refused to be alone with her. Think twice before using this facility. I moved to PS last year and wanted to continue with PREP. As a new patient I was subject to a litany of forms, interrogatories and tests. The swab testing was especially degrading. They required multiple visits and repeated lab tests which my insurance would not pay. In addition, the lab tests were submitted to my insurance company using the wrong procedure codes. Despite repeated requests this was never corrected. Their appointment cancellation policy is unreasonable. If you're unable to keep more than one appointment they will punish you. I called the reception desk to make an appointment. Receptionist says she is unwilling to schedule an appointment. She says, First I need to call CJ and ask him for permission to make an appointment. So I leave CJ a voicemail CJ doesn't call me back.
