Unbelievably, and bizarrely rude receptionist on the phone. I asked if I could make an appointment? Pause. "For WHO?"Um ME? Isn't that obvious, as I am calling with the request? He then said I could not make an appointment because I was not already a registered patient... So can you register me? Help in any way? Nope. I'll find an urgent care, thanks.
If you care about your health, DO NOT put your life in the hands of these people who run the DAP clinic. It's unfortunate that for those who have limited resources have to have so little options but I refuse to have my insurance pay these people when all you get is attitude, rudeness and just lack of proper respect. The girls that work the front office are ruining this clinic. They will give you attitude for anything. Never have a smile and are always on their phones. DAP has been expanding and constructing for the past four five months with a new building annex south of the blue clinic. Where are they getting all this money? The Government? I don't get it, they can afford expanding but fail to plan having Handicap parking spaces near the entrance? Worst clinic I have ever been too, front desk , ignores you, no greetings I said good morning and no one answered, they kept working not even acknowledging I was there until they were done with their gossiping. and Good luck getting your referral done correctly, I had gone to Escondido location seen Dr Hernandez (great Dr) and asked for an ENT referral to Dr Fitzgerald, after almost 3 weeks I had to call referrals to follow up on the ENT referral and it was sent to a different location in San Diego and I live in VIsta!, I ca... read more
The absolute worst medical facility on EARTH...and I've been to the doctor in Haiti. I am not going to share my experience. You can read all of the other awful posts to know what I've been through...these people are EVIL and should not be practicing medicine in any way shape or form. DAP is no longer for the people. it has become corporate and is being run by incompetent people. 2 years ago I came to DAP after the poor quality care and horrible customer service I got at Borrego. when I heard DAP was purchasing Borrego I thoughT great maybe Borrego will run like DAP wouldn't that be ideal but oh no the surprise was on me because DAP now runs like Borrego. This is a horrible medical facility they violated my rights by sharing my personal information with family I would never recommend this location. The staff is rude yelling at you and hanging up on you , I don't understand why the community rallies behind this horrible organization. Instead of lifting the community up they keep tearing us down.
DAP is not a great health system. I have only been a member since the beginning of the year and they are not up on their game. I have private insurance, a PPO, and pay $1000/month out of pocket. And I pay between $50-$90 each visit. I have health issues and have been 5 or 6 times this year. I can't get anyone to respond to messages on the mychart system. DAP Dental does basic stuff, teeth cleaning, minor cavity filling. Temporary partial dentures not the best, they need more training. First fittings were repeated twice, still unsuccessful, said they would return it, two weeks later still didn't fit, tiny molars were not long enough to touch bottom partials to chew food properly . Every dentist nowadays in the desert are all pushing implants, (BTW, DAP doesn't do implants).
