Nice, new hotel with some issues. To celebrate my birthday we booked a premium suite at the Evansville Doubletree hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and thankfully I tried to confirm that we did indeed have a suite, and she said no you have a regular king room. I showed her my Expedia suite confirmation with the significant higher price and she said “ oh 3rd party reservations can be wrong, we have no suites left” sigh... Overall it was a good experience. I was disappointed that the skywalk to the old national events plaza was not open for the event we were attending. The whole reason I booked this hotel was because of access to the skywalk. The hotel was very clean. Overall staff were nice with the exception of one individual.
A good experience. Rooms were in excellent condition, Service as very good. I would stay there again. Food was okay, not great.
Repeat customer Second stay and we love the location for our events. We don't like having to pay additional for parking...it would be a nice amenity included with the hotel fee. Pillows feel soft but go flat easily leaving an uncomfortable sleep. But we would stay again should we have an event in the area.
BEDT BIRTHDAY, EVER 🤗🎂💕🎉🍷 We had a "Great Start" to our day. My 2 son's from Ohio said they couldn't come and surprised me at met us at your friendly Bar with Bartender, Mandy. She was fun. Went to our room and everything was good Everything was wonderful. Your Front desk, Lady was very, very friendly 3/24-25/2018. Your Shuttle Drivers and Maids were Great as well! Not to mention, your Chocolate. Chip Cookies, 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 THANK- YOU, with much Appreciation. You Guys are Great!!!
