Didn't work Despite all my efforts, this product never worked. I tried scanning several different types of paper and each one brought an error message. I even invested $25 in carrier sheets but that didn't work, either. I finally gave up and returned it.

Directions not clear, troubleshooting very confusing This type of equipment should be easy to set up and use. It is not easy to figure out when it gives error messages. Tech support is NOT user friendly.
Didn't work Called customer service for help getting it started then just getting it to work. They did try but nothing worked. Had to return it immediately.
Do Not Buy This. Does not work Extremely difficult, wireless will not set up. Have downloaded the software a couple of times. Still no luck. You can create a workflow but the workflow won't work. I bought it to take with me when I go see my childhood friends who just returned from being overseas for many years. I planned on taking a thumb drive instead of photo albums, and wanted to scan pictures they have.
Piece of Crap This is suppose to be so easy to work....NOPE. Kept going off line .... jammed.... I've used Brother products but this and the portable printer are JUNK. Half the time they didn't work the other half they would go offline or jam. JUNK do not buy. Tried to return on 3/29, but the window to return ended 3-5 days ago on these products.... No wonder they have a short window for returns.
Constant feeder error message The scanner is portable, sleek, and easy to store. Unfortunately, it takes too much time to try to scan because of constant jam error messages. I have had to restart the scanner and/or my computer multiple times. It will eventually work after a lot of trouble shooting, but the convenience of the fast scanning function is lost it when I spent over an hour trying to get it to work for my first set of documents. A terrible investment
Jams Easily, Confusing Controls, Other Problems I am happy enough with this scanner to not rue purchasing it. However, it jams very frequently for no reason I can discern and I find the on / off controls to be needlessly complicated (perhaps I am not getting something, but it sure seems overly complicated to me). It also sometimes fails to copy the whole sheet - it mysteriously crops the image. In light of all these bugs, I would recommend against purchasing this unit.
Nice device, but!!! Do not buy this device if expecting to use with a tablet. It will not charge with included cord into any separate USB plug. I like the compact design and other features but don't have any other means in which to charge as direct by the manufacture. This must be directly connected to a pc to charge, not good for a home of only smart phones and tablets.
