I used to rave about this hospital. But seems like they are going downhill. Beware: if you have an appt, and the doctor calls out, they'll prioritize walk-ins over those who have had an appt or will tell you to go to the nearest ER. You'd think they would try to get their APPTS seen but nope.
Call before you walk in. If you walk in there is an extensive wait, which is how you are greeted. The staff vape out multiple doors and the smoke carry's back into the building (side doors and main door)
My diabetic dog is now out of insulin because the vet refuses to authorize it over the phone - the primary way prescriptions get filled. They do so because they want you to use their pharmacy so they get a kickback. So because they couldn't make their 10 bucks or whatever they get, my dog is suffering.

Thank you for providing your feedback and letting us know about your experience, Ensen . We set a high standard for ourselves and are truly sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations. Please call us at (909) 794-1888 and ask for Kelly and I would be happy to discuss your experience further and understand how we can do better next time. Thank you, Kelly Carlton Hospital Manager
Terrible experience! My senior cat and I were roomed immediately at appt time, no others in waiting room. I was left waiting 45 mins with no communication or apologies. I decided to leave but stopped at reception to share my frustration and used "cuss" words and i was the met with attitude since referring to the situation as shitty. Vet rushed in to see me, no introduction, this was not the same vet Id met previously, she referred to my cat as wrong gender...did she ever look at her chart??? Listened to her heart, swabbed he... read more

Paula, thank you for taking the time to speak with me over the phone in more detail about your visit. We appreciate the feedback and will work hard to improve our processes.
Olivia, the front office little girl, is rude. She is very unprofessional and has no customer service skills. When asked a question, she responds with sarcasm. The receptionist is to be the face of the office. Olivia should not be the first person a customer sees. I highly recommend that this company select their employees who are an asset to their company. Not a little kid with no customer service skills or respect. She blends in very well with this new generation. I give this front office poor reviews today due to her atti... read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE. If I could give zero stars, I would. This establishment is responsible for an overdose of medication and giving my dog neurological issues that led to a $6,000 visit to an emergency vet. They refuse to refund me for the visit and medications given and have been giving me the run around for 3 months and now refuse to speak to me. If you love your animal, I beg you, do not bring them here.
Business response:
Our Mdvm and Hospital manager have already spoken to you about your concerns in detail and confirmed with you, that the medication was not an overdose. The medication did not lead to your pet needing a cystotomy (bladder stone removal), as this was an already pre-existing medical condition. I have been coming to East Valley pet hospital for some time now for all my pets, I personally love Dr. Graham, she is amazing. However, I really needed to get my sick pet in either via walk in or whatever they could have scheduled me for I would have taken whatever they gave me. After explaining the situation of my pupp they said, well we can get you in on Friday, mind you it was Monday! After i clearly explaind the seriousness of my dog...they really could care less if you been a patient for 1 day or 10 years.. they didn'... read more

Josie, we are sorry that you were not able to get in on the same day that you called. We understand the importance of your pet needing care. We are not able to accommodate everyone that calls or walks in, so we offer the Emergency clinic which is open 24 hours, or other daytime practices that might possibly be able to help. Unfortunately, the soonest we had an appointment was the end of the week. Calling the following morning to see if someone has canceled their appointment is an option too.
5 different times over the past several Yeats we have takin our dogs ( pups and full grown) here when dogs are not feeling well etc.. this place is a joke . they are quick to admit your dog only to take his temp and offer x rays and prescribe meds and of course take your money and then send you home in which we find out dog is still sick so we call and they say we need to take him/ her to e.r. vet.. they should have said this to begin with.. WHAT A JOKE.. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE.
Business response:
Good morning, James. After a careful review of your case with the doctor, I would like to respond with some clarity about the visit, since you were not the person who brought "Axel' to our clinic. Happily, we were able to accommodate your pet with a same-day walk-in visit for his vomiting, as requested. After examination, the doctor spoke in length about what his concerns were and did mention at that time, that Axel may need to go to ER if he did not improve since his walk-in visit was in the afternoon. The doctor was very c... read more
Do not take your dog to this veterinarian for teeth cleaning. I was quoted over $2,000 for a Level 4 Cleaning including anesthesia care and several extractions for my small dog. I shopped around and ended up getting the same exact treatment protocol for less than half of this price at another reputable vet in Yucaipa. Do your research.
Business response:
Dentistry done by Dr. Henderson is always performed with full mouth X-rays to properly evaluate all the dental disease below the gum line, evaluating for bone loss, abscess, and other dental abnormalities. This is where more than 80% of the disease process occurs. After X-rays, the doctor determines the best course of treatment. Based on your dog's physical exam, a Grade 4 dental disease (being the worst ) was diagnosed by the doctor. Done properly, this can take 2+ hours to complete. Pre-medications, pre & post, general ane... read more
