I'm helping someone to recover from this scam. A scam company that misleads older demographic implying you have a warranty with them and trying to sell them an "extension". Policy is very expensive especially for many people on a fixed income. They cannot afford the policy. Trying to recover what money i can for a scam target. A deposit (nonrefundable after 30 days) was required which appears to be designed as one of Eleras's income sources due to, i suspect, are many cancellations as caretakers look in on their older family... read more
Talking with them was confusing. Both the sales person and the department I called spoke very fast. After being reluctant to go ahead and give my credit card number it was suggested I look them up on BBB. They gave the company name as Evercare just like it says in small print on the bottom of their letter. When I speak to anyone they say the name Eleras. Evercare has an A+ rating, Eleras has the worst rating possible. I'm hoping I will get my money back in a few days.
Business response:
To Whom This May ******** Eleras Group is the selling agent of the policy. ******************* is the administrator of the coverage. It looks like ********************* policy was cancelled and her money was voided on 12/15/2021. If there is any other concerns please contact the customer service department at ************
This company I will not deal with or I wouldn't recommend nobody to deal with them. They told me they were going to send me my information in the mail I never got it, then I called them on the phone and want to cancel this I just happened to look at my bank account and seeing the money they take it out and I'll have nothing in writing.
Business response:
To Whom This May ******** We apologize for this inconvenience. Please contact our office at ************
We actually have a legitimate dealer extended warranty. I received a final warning letter that my warranty was expiring and the rates were increasing. They included the year, make and model of our vehicle. Since we are currently in the 2nd year of a 3 year **** Warranty, I called the number on the letter to advise them that we still have another year on the warranty. An arrogant representative told us our warranty was now expired because I refused to extend with them. I'm not easily taken in by scams, but I thought the lette... read more

Sold a truck and no longer needed the coverage, that is when the harassment began. Whats wrong with the truck, are you getting another vehicle, youve made this many payments. This first of all is none of their business but to boot the supervisor then proceeded to rudely over talk myself and my husband. We finally got the cancellation. Say no to this behavior on any service industries
Business response:
To Whom This May ******** We apologize that you feel this way. Our intention was not to upset you. We take these concerns seriously. Any customer service department wants to know why they are losing your business so that they can better assist you or someone else in the future. We apologize for the inconvenience this caused you.
A scam company that sends misleading mailers out to older demographic areas implying you have a warranty with them and trying to sell you a extension. The company name is hidden by only mentioning it once in very small print at the bottom of the letter and the mail mimics a recall notice to get you to open it. Not normal business practices. I assume all the glowing reviews here are posted by the company.
Business response:
To Whom This May ******** The mailer sent out is just a notification letting you know that your factory warranty is about to expire or is expired. You are welcome to discard it or call us to have us remove you from the mailing list completely. If you would like us to remove you from the list completely please call us at ************ and provide us with the code on the upper left hand side of the notification. Thank you and have a nice day.
Received a letter from Eleas -- had to look at the small print and only found a name. A legit company with a legit offer would make it clear who they are. This letter implies they have tried to call me. I get scam calls from any number of car warranty scams and they never say what company they are from. Again, a legit company would tell you who they are. This letter also implies I have a current warranty with them -- I DON'T! I refuse to call this company so they can turn around and say the I do business with them and then ha... read more
Im not sure how this company got our information. The letter we received includes threatening verbiage (in all caps, underline, and bold print) such as Final Notice, Final Attempt to Notify, Official Business- Penalty for Private Use, Financially Liable, Call Immediately, Extremely Urgent and Time Sensitive. I previously worked as a corporate trainer for a large extended warranty company in FL and knew what to look for and what is inappropriate. I would like to be immediately removed from the mailing and or call list. I also... read more

I have been hounded and harrassed by this company by phone calls and letter, telling me that my warranty is about to expire. I was pretty sure it was a scam, because I pay for my warranty in my monthly car loan payment;******** ********** ****** would do something about this! it will continue until my loan is paid off. (I took out a six year loan.) I called my loan company to verify this fact. They said yes, they receive many calls. Customers are harrased, and unfortunately, some fall for it and end up paying for a warranty ... read more
