Went in for knee surgery and was extremely nervous. I've had surgeries before and this was nothing new for me. I was in full anxiety mode for some odd reason. The nurse I had during my visit, Gina was exceptional! She was so comforting and reassuring along with other staff members. The receptionist was warm and friendly also. Surgery went well. Waiting to start therapy. Thank you all for being so kind and attentive to my needs.

Dr Merz is a very professional, knowledgeable and caring doctor. He performed a very thorough physical exam and explained everything he was doing. He went through and explained my hip MRI in great detail to me. Explained my options and included me in the decision making. I travel 2 hours to see him and it’s well worth the trip.

I received exceptional care from start to finish from Dr. Merz and his practice. Dr. Merz is an excellent surgeon who takes time to know his patient, hear their concerns and address their expectations. I'm very thankful to him, his staff and surgical team for their preparedness, professionalism and attention to detail.

I can’t Enough wonderful things about Dr Merz and EmergeOrtho. He replaced my first knee and is doing my second knee and he did a wonderful job with my first knee replacement. I highly recommend him and all the other doctors at Emerge for all your orthopedic needs.

Dr. Mertz listened to me and showed genuine interest in my knee issue from a past injury. He explained things thoroughly without dumbing it down, and offered options to address my concern. He reinforced my choice as though we were a team in solving the issue. He took the time necessary for all of this and never seemed rushed nor made me feel like I asking too many questions. I highly recommend Dr. Mertz!
