Dr. Merz has very good opinion among people I know personally. I met him twice and he is going to perform total knee replacement surgery in few weeks. I trust him. This is my first major surgery, so I had many questions. He answered some via portal and others during visits.
When I first was a patient back in 2017, he sat with me for as long as necessary and listened to all of my concerns. Forward to my surgery, in 2018, it was a success until a fall I took in May.That fall made my knee move and was very uncomfortable. I had a bone scan and showed the same. I had my next left knee replacement on 1/13/26. Dr. Merz was fantastic, sat and spoke with me about how the procedure would go. I trust him immensely!
As always, my experience with Dr. Merz was very positive. He reviewed my recent x-rays and discussed my healing progress. Dr. Merz listens to my concerns and answers all my questions in a caring manner. I never feel rushed or unimportant. Great physician!
