Dr Merz and his team work seamlessly providing exceptional customer care. I went in for my pre-surgery appointment with lots of questions. He explained the surgery, options, risks, recovery, etc. At the end of that appointment I pulled out my list of questions and he'd answered all without having to be asked. I had Dr. Merz replace my right hip in 2020 and was very pleased with the outcome, so I chose him again for my left hip replacement on Dec 31, 2024. So far everything is going well from this latest surgery. I have been happy with all of my experiences with Dr. Merz. He is always willing to listen, answers questions thoroughly, and seems extremely competent. I also recommend NC Specialty Hospital, where both my procedures were done. It is an excellent small hospital with knowledgeable and caring staff.
