Dr. Merz was great. He listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. He performed both of my hip replacements and I couldn't be any happier with the results.
Dr. Merz walked in the door with a pleasant smile although I was squeezed into his booked schedule. Most doctors would have expressed a grimace.I respect that he was behind schedule and did not have the time to listen and answer all of my questions. What is important is that he shared the necessary information at the time. Sure, more details would have been great. Dr. Merz performed hip bursectomy. He explained procedure, expected outcomes, and postoperative care in detail. He listens, great educator and genuinely cares about his patients. Would highly recommend.
I had a follow up visit with Dr. Merz to discuss my recovery from hip replacement surgery. As always, the appointment went smoothly as Dr. Merz reviewed my x-rays and gave me positive feedback. He continues to provide encouragement and support. He is always pleasant and responsive.
Went in for knee pain. They took X-rays and Dr Metz reviewed and examined my knee. He gave me a definitive diagnosis and made some suggestions for conservative treatment. He also mentioned supplements which are helpful for arthritis. I came home with an instruction sheet for exercises to strengthen the muscles surrounding the knee joint. Will follow up in a month. I did have a bit of a wait but I was overall pleased with the experience.
