Dr. Merz has been wonderful about taking time to explain that my cracked femur needs to heal naturally on its own. Surgery is not an option. He answers my questions about how long this will take— honestly— because it will be months and every case is different.He is positive with his comments but helps me to be realistic about the recovery time ahead of me.
Doctor Merz was very understanding and helpful explained everything with details.
As always, Dr. Merz is off the charts when it comes professionalism, expertise, being an excellent communicator and an even better listener. Five stars isn't enough!

Dr. Merz spent a lot of time with me going over my options for a hip issue. He was so knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Fantastic visit. I highly recommend him.
Dr Merz replaced my husband’s hip a year ago. We were so impressed that I went to him for an arthroscopic procedure. He is very kind and compassionate. I finally have relief from my groin pain!
Dr. Merz went through my current and 9 year old X-Rays in detail and explained that my hip pain wasn't caused by problems with the previous hip replacement but could be solved with therapy (either on my own or with the EmergeOrtho therapists. After 2 surgeries the past 2 months I was unable to exercise which weakened the muscles. I'm working on that now.
