Dr. Merz is a great doctor. He explained the procedure well and what I needed to do when I arrive home. Listens to patients needs and concerns. I would definitely recommend.
Dr. Merz is very knowledgeable. He also has an amiable demeanor that automatically makes you feel at ease. He has been responsive to all of my concerns and I'm certain that he's the right choice for my knee replacement surgery.
Very thorough exam
Previous to seeing Dr. Merz, I had seen another orthopedic surgeon who diagnosed me with hip dysplasia and osteoarthritis. I started having more pain the past month, including new 'stinging' pain in my left glute, thigh and shin. I saw Dr. Merz to discuss this new pain and see what my options are. He patiently listened to everything that I had been going through since last July (when I started PT) . Dr. Merz took the time to explain all of the options that we had before I made a decision. He was amazing when I had my hip replacement. I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon. Dr Merz is a wonderful orthopedic doctor and I recommend him to anyone who needs one.
