My appointment with Dr. Merz was very informative. He is compassionate towards his patients and seems genuinely concerned. Dr. Merz explained the procedure for my surgery and understood that I was apprehensive about having the surgery. He helped to assure me that it was necessary and I was going to have a better quality of life after the operation. Dr. Merz attentiveness to his patients made it much easier to make my decision to go forward with my surgery. Thank you to him and his staff.
Dr. Merz concern and his wonderful bedside manner! I've had almost 14 surgeries in my 69 yesterday! From open heart surgery to hammer toe surgery! I have never met a physician who Really Listens! He shows his patience to his patients with everything he does! I've never felt as safe and confident as I do with Dr. Merz. Emerge has a star on their roster and I pray they they know it! Dr. Merz is attentive, listened to everything I had to say about my recent hip experiences and then explained his plan for treatment thoroughly. The subsequent surgery was successful as both Dr. Merz and the entire team were professional and attentive to my needs and concerns. Their care and professionalism showed through everywhere.
Dr Merz is an outstanding specialist. He was listening carefully to my medical history, examined, and made recommendations for a treatment plan. I feel, he cares a lot about his patients. Dr. Merz explained the recommended procedures, lined out potential side effects or risks. He is very efficient, though very friendly, very down to earth and easy to talk to. I feel very fortunate having found this talented doctor. I highly recommend him.
From the time I first got there the staff was very friendly and professional. The waiting area was clean the bathroom was clean. I was taken back to a room by a staff member and the Dr’s PA came in to speak with me then Dr Merz came in and he listened to me when I explained what was happening. I mean he really listened not like some Dr’s that cut you short.
Great diagnostic ability
Dr Merz is fabulous. Super knowledgeable and clearly an expert, yet a down-to-earth good guy. Perhaps the best bedside manner I've encountered all my life interacting with physicians.
Dr Metz was patient, kind, listened acutely to my rather complicated medical history and current status, and was honest in assessing current knee issue, offering feasible options. A treatment plan was outlined, my responsibilities carefully set out, with my questions all answered. I felt extremely comfortable and well cared for by his entire staff. I was encouraged to update Dr in a few days as to how the in office treatment impacted me. Highly recommend this physician.
