Does a very thorough exam, explains X-ray findings and clearly elucidates a treatment plan.
Dr Merz and his team work seamlessly providing exceptional customer care. I went in for my pre-surgery appointment with lots of questions. He explained the surgery, options, risks, recovery, etc. At the end of that appointment I pulled out my list of questions and he'd answered all without having to be asked. I posed follow-up questions on the patient portal that were all answered promptly. My surgery (total knee replacement) was 5 days ago. Dr. Merz diagnosed my problem very quickly. Once we had a diagnosis, we discussed options, settled on a treatment plan, and surgery was scheduled. Everything went smoothly. Dr. Merz was always easy to talk to. He answered my questions in terms I understood. I happily recommend him!

Dr. Merz did my total hip replacement in December. I am very pleased with the outcome. My post operative experience with Dr. Merz has been great. He answers my questions promptly and I would not hesitate recommending him to others.
