Dr. Merz performed a revision hip replacement surgery after carefully examining me and through diagnostic tests and imaging. I had explained the history dating back 2.5 years of pain and inability to do just about anything physical including walking. Dr. Merz listened patiently as I described past treatments and therapy. Dr. Merz is a great surgeon and a very nice man. Patient, kind, and responsive. I will recommend him to anyone I know who may need hip surgery. The staff at the hospital are patient, friendly, and helpful.
I was in for a Left hip replacement and received great service from the time I walked in the office. Dr. Merz and his team was awesome. I would definitely recommend.
He actually listened to me. I felt comfortable talking to him myself. I'm 19 and I don't always feel like people hear me, but he didn't rush me and answered all of my questions.
From the front office staff to Dr. Merz, everyone was so nice and helpful and most of all compassionate. Dr. Merz took his time to listen to me without rushing me along. He was very informative and answered all of my questions regarding my plan and postoperative recovery. His staff echoed his praise and expertise that makes me feel very confident. His medical assistant and coordinator, Ms Marsha, were both fast, efficient and so helpful. Wonderful first time experience all around.
Dr Merz did my hip replcement, and it was my second. The other hip was done by another Orthopedic Doctor. While I had no problems with that one completed 2 years ago, this experiance with Dr Merz was by far the best of the best! Dr Merz bedside manner is incredible and he pays great attention to detail. This hip replcement was smoother than the one 2 years ago and his staff called me twice a week for 5 weeks after the surgery to check on me and how I was doing! It was an awesome experiance.
This was my first visit with Dr. Merz. Great visit. Prompt. Explained things clearly.
Dr and staff were very professional and efficient. Wait time was minimal. After X-rays, Dr info was informative and he delivered option, then we agreed on an approach. Time will tell now!
