Luke showed up on time, covered his feet, wore a mask and then proceeded to adjust what we thought was a broken shower head at no cost explaining patiently what he did and what we need to do going forward to make sure it works properly. He was a very nice guy who knew his work. We are new to the area and now Excel Plumbing is our definite go to for all things plumbing in our home.

Don't hesitate to call this company! I had a leaky shower faucet at a rental property in prospect heights. The kind receptionist(lisa I think) helped schedule an appointment. Brian arrived soon after to fix the problem. He showed up on time and solved the problem in a very efficient manner. It didn't take him long he seemed to be very knowledgeable and equipped for the job. It was my first time using a plumber in a long time. Here's what you need to know: AMAZING service and communication, coupled with very fair pricing. It's shocking to see a plumbing company get service, availability, communication, and pricing so right. I Called for a drain unclog for a rental unit, and they were amazingly prompt and professional. Their service call free was only $29 and that too was waived when I secured a follow up appointment. 3rd experience with Excel: an update with my water heater installation It turns out that they installed the incorrect anode rod material, magnesium vs aluminum, which resulted in some issues a couple months later. I called and got the problem diagnosed quickly over the phone, and it took 2.5 weeks for Excel to receive the part and schedule a visit. On my original call, they did try to upsell me on a powered anode rod for $300, but they did the standard replacement for free as it was a miss on their part. Lesson learned: ... read more

Updating my review. I usually had work done with Luke ( fantastic to work with!). However, a recent plumbing issue led me to work with Adrian. He was extremely knowledgeable with what needed to be done and I would definitely work with him, Luke or any other Excel plumber in the future!

I had an issue that needed to be resolved early on a Sunday. Maureen answered quickly, gave me an accurate quote and assigned Luke to come help me. I received a text with his information and picture, so I knew who was coming. He showed up as promised in an hour, was friendly and helpful. He solved our problem in an hour and walked me through long term solutions and options. This is my second experience with them and they continue to be a good partner for maintaining my home!
