We live in San Francisco and need a storage unit as we figure some things out. I like this Extra Space Storage location as it's close, easy to drive to, affordable, safe and clean. We also found the staff friendly, professional and helpful. We recommend it.

I'm so glad I found Extra Space Storage near me. The customer service agents Jennica and Irene are very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. There's always a smile on their face even with their masks on. Irene was so patient in finding a space for us even when there's nothing left. In another note when I needed help in opening the door of my unit, I called the office, at an instant Jennica rushed to my unit to help me. For all these I'm recommending and giving Extra Space two thumbs up!

We had a unit here for a year and everything went about as smoothly as possible. We just needed a place to leave some stuff after moving to SF but before finding a bigger apartment, and this fit the bill perfectly. The unit itself was a standard box, and I don't think we ever saw anyone else in that hallway. The online autopay was really easy, and there wasn't a price increase in the time that we were there. The move-out process was also easy. Overall, I'd say no complaints and we would rent from here again if we had to.

Setup It's a very well maintained and managed facility that's close to my in-laws place and we were in the middle of a super quick move. We ended up renting two upstairs units right next to an elevator. Summary I honestly want to rate them a 4 - it's high-end, but not the best I've seen - but I can't because of their level of service. I can't remember their names, but maybe it was Dillan? Whoever they were, they were nothing but nice to me on the phone. SO SO SO happy they had first month free, because we had to do renovations that required us to store the large furniture elsewhere for a couple weeks and the cost was so high. Stressing out everyday. Luckily ESS had this great offer, no hidden fees, in and out, and we're all done. Easy process and clean location. Will use again, but hopefully never need to. Thank you!
