We had a unit here for a year and everything went about as smoothly as possible. We just needed a place to leave some stuff after moving to SF but before finding a bigger apartment, and this fit the bill perfectly. The unit itself was a standard box, and I don't think we ever saw anyone else in that hallway. The online autopay was really easy, and there wasn't a price increase in the time that we were there. The move-out process was also easy. Overall, I'd say no complaints and we would rent from here again if we had to.

Setup It's a very well maintained and managed facility that's close to my in-laws place and we were in the middle of a super quick move. We ended up renting two upstairs units right next to an elevator. Summary I honestly want to rate them a 4 - it's high-end, but not the best I've seen - but I can't because of their level of service. I can't remember their names, but maybe it was Dillan? Whoever they were, they were nothing but nice to me on the phone. SO SO SO happy they had first month free, because we had to do renovations that required us to store the large furniture elsewhere for a couple weeks and the cost was so high. Stressing out everyday. Luckily ESS had this great offer, no hidden fees, in and out, and we're all done. Easy process and clean location. Will use again, but hopefully never need to. Thank you!

Very easy and fast. MIKE helped me around to see my unit. And when I closed my account, LUVEE was a STAR. I haven't met her but she helped me a lot in clarifying the terms. when she calls or leaves a message she sounds like she loves her job. Pleasing manner, good vibes for what can be a stressful moving for customers.
