I have been renting from this Extra Space Storage for 12 years. The space has always been clean, the staff has always been courteous and now that I just got married and moved into a much larger space, I'm moving on. Otherwise, I'd continue using this wonderful space and facility!

I signed up for a storage space online. I got a call from the facilities manager a few hours later, Scottie. He was welcoming and engaging. When I came by to see my unit, Scottie greeted me and patiently walked me through orientation. It was an expectedly pleasant and informative experience. Amazing crew and management they were quick to help and the quality is excellent very clean and I recommend it to anyone looking for self storage in San Francisco! I almost forgot how cheap it was with their deals that are going on right now so as well as affordable all those other things I named 5 stars definitely would give them 10 if it was possible.

Well I have to say the thought of helping friends move their "stuff" from a storage unit in downtown S.F. doesn't sound very pleasant! What a wonderful experience, and I'm not kidding... The two representatives of this clean, well maintained, and most accessible establishment were an an absolute joy! Mr. Fitz Rush and his associate Ms. Ez couldn't have been more helpful and professional. We have had a storage space here for almost 5 years. The customer service has always been exceptional. We recently visited to discuss a rate hike and the manager, F. Rush was very patient and pleasant. He listened with compassion and was able to help us. I would highly recommended this location especially under the management of F. Rush.

Edit: after writing this review, the staff called me, offering to reduce the price increase by half. This was a great gesture and much appreciated. Increased my rating to 4 stars. ------------ Original review: Buyer beware. In 3 months they will double your rate. Questionable business practices.

The staff here is really nice! I was basically moving in quite a bit of things in on my own, but they were very helpful with accommodating and helping me find my storage space & picking up things I dropped while bringing the stuff to my space:) Shoutout to E!!

Extra Space Storage came through for us. I called to get information and spoke with a lovely lady who was very helpful. She reserved our storage unit for us. Tom called to make sure all was in order. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff and an amazing manager named Fritz. Fritz walked us to our unit, made sure it was the size we needed. His staff helped us park in their garage and brought out a flat bed. Thank you for the great customer service.

I found this storage by googling this particular neighborhood (after being disappointed in the one on Second street that I had reserved before but gave up because of no convenient loading zone/parking) - they were quick to respond and when I arrived minutes later - the check-in and the loading went on fast and smoothly. It's my first month (and even though it cost the most with $29 administration fee added plus $14.20 insurance added to the rent base price) I'm glad with my choice. So far so good.
