My husband was reluctant to come to Fernhill House but the two weeks respite has been a success. He loved the shower room, much better than at home! Everyone has been friendly and helpful and I have enjoyed some lovely meals as a visitor. Thank you to everyone at Fernhill House.

My husband's mum went to Fernhill House Care Home for respite while we moved home. We have to say Fernhill House was outstanding in every way, very tastefully decorated and furnished throughout, very clean, all staff were very attentive and took great care of Mum, so much so, she requested to go and stay again when we go away. My mother has been a resident at Fernhill House Worcestershire for the past 4 years. Although it is extremely sad for my sister and I to watch our mother deteriorate with the awful dementia. We could not wish for her to be in a better place. We feel comfortable that she is being well looked after and the mental stimulation and entertainment provided is excellent. A lovely location and building that feels like a smart boutique hotel. For my mum I think it’s like being on holiday. The friendly, professional team have been looking after my mother for over a year now, and I can honestly say it’s a huge relief she is being cared for so well. Although confused with her deteriorating Alzheimer’s condition, emotionally she seems happy and content as the team keep her safe and entertained.

I cannot thank the staff at Fernhill House enough for all they do for my mother-in-law. For her birthday this month, we had a wonderful family lunch, with fizz and cake and everyone made her day really special. The home is immaculate, and the food is delicious. My husband went into Fernhill House Care Home after a fall at home, the in hospital for four weeks. The hospital; advised nursing home care (as I am 80). My daughter and I reviewed this beautiful home and decided it was best. It was the right decision. My husband has the best loving care until he passed away. I can't recommend it high enough. My mother-in-law who lives with us, went into Fernhill House Care Home for a period of respite in March 2022 while my husband and I were away. My mother-in-law gets very anxious when she is taken out of her normal environment. The staff could not have been any more welcoming and could not have made her feel any more comfortable. We found Fernhill House for my Dad who was in hospital for 4 weeks, with dementia and very poor mobility. The day before he was transferred my Mum and I went to see Dad's room and took some of his familiar things, including some books of his interests. The day he arrived the staff sat with him, talking about the books and made him feel very comfortable after his traumatic 4-week hospital stay.
