I came in recently for a new hair color. Since this was my first time there I called and requested someone on the lower end of the pricing scale, and was matched with Violet. Thank God! She was the sweetest woman and we made great conversation as she applied the color. After she rinsed my color out we came back to the chair and I was a little shocked at seeing myself with brown hair again! This salon did a great job the second time around! My first color, not so good but after talking with Mat, they were amazing!! I couldn't be happier with my hair. Raquel did an amazing job and they made sure everything was perfect! I only caution those picking a new colorist, you have to be very specific and if they show any hesitation don't do it! But the staff is awesome and I'm going back for all my services!

First of all, I would like to say, they are all professional. Would like to thank all of them who served us today. As soon as we walked in, they were politely asked us for robe or not, and asked us water or coffee or tea. Very high class decorations. Didn't wait for long and called me in. The one who did my hair is so so so polite and nice. Very talkative and funny. I did a bleach and tone, and my black hair didn't pick it up; and she offered me a free redo one. Beverly did a great job on my pedicure! She took care of my ingrown toenails for me! I thought I would have to go to the doctor & have them surgically taken care of, but her way was way less invasive & much cheaper :)

This review is for the spa service at Gene Juarez. I've been going to Gene Juarez for facials once a month for almost 10 years now and I have been extremely happy with my aesthetician Shelly. She gives such a relaxing, yet effective facial. She's not too gentle, yet not too firm and she knows what my skin needs each month. The texture and appearance of my skin has vastly improved since going to Shelly at Gene Juarez. If you need a facial, I highly recommend Shelly, she's the best. I love my haircut and the girl who cut it was really nice. I am giving it 3 stars because I felt the price was ridiculous. I got a trim and it took less than an hour. When I looked online their price said $50+. Thinking my hair was thin and it was only a trim it couldn't be more than $50. But I was wrong! With a tip I paid $80!! I probably will not go back because of this.

I had scheduled an appointment with stylist Emily. She calls out. Gene Juarez call me to cancel the appointment. I have taken the day off to take care of this and no consideration at all I agreed to choose another stylist and prior to my appointment they called me again and tell me that they are switching my appointment again and have to come earlier due to a 30 minute difference. I paid over $600 for a full foil. The scheduling was messed up. She did it anyway but didn't do it correctly. Not only was it a washed out pastel, nothing even similar to the picture I brought, but now that I've talked to multiple people about what she should have done, it's obvious she had no idea how to do it. It lasted less than a month, even though I followed her directions exactly and used her shampoo. i went to go get my hair done, right? but no. they barely even TOUCHED my hair before they started to insult me. of course i got mad because who does that? i was asking for them to just do my hair. anyway, i got kicked out. nothing done to my hair. extremely pissed off. i would rate this a zero if i could. the relaxing vibe was nowhere to be seen. awful. just awful.
