I had my haircut here for the first time today. I had Hazel who was awesome! I am growing my hair out, and hadn't cut it in a while. Since I'm growing it out I just wanted to trim and clean it up. She did that for me and made the cut so much better too! I absolutely love it and am so happy to have found her - it is really hard to find a match for hair - for me at least. I have kind of big curl/ wavy hair that just seems stubborn most of the time. I am very appreciative!

Kelsy was great! I came in for a partial balayage and she was honest and asked all the right questions. I showed her a few pictures and she got it right! She dried just one piece and asked if I wanted to tone it down-I loved it but great that she asked. Love love the color. For cut I went to Dakota. She was great and friendly. I just asked for some basic layering and basically a trim and she did that. Pretty pricey for a basic cut but that was my choice obviously. I am so pleased with Marquez...he listens to what I want and then puts his creativeness to work! I have seen him twice in the last 6 weeks! Very happy! I liked the fact that he didn't try and oversell products, etc. Also I had a much better experience with the front desk! Even offered a glass of wine! Very nice experience! I HIGHLY recommend Marquez!

I was able to get a re-do with a different stylist. Tyler. He was amazing. Took his time and asked a bunch of questions. My hair is a little shorter than I like BUT it is a much better hair cut (plus hair grows back, not a big deal). Thanks for making a bad situation much better!!

If you want a good color go see Aleksandra. She is professional and knows what color looks good on you. She also does an amazing blowout style. I have been coming to this location and seeing Aleksandra for years. Every visit is a treat. Trust me you will walk away feeling like you have just been pampered.

Update: Had a seasonal color by Ryann. She made me blonde in June and brought me back to my natural hair color yesterday! I'll be going in for another color to make it last in about a month. She's the best and I love how she's realistic about hair expectations. I had a haircut here for the first time by Milia(I think that's how you spell her name) she understood exactly what I wanted, which was healthy long hair. She cut what was needed and added facial framing and let the rest of my hair stay at one length.

So I have gone to Gene Juarez for years and never had a bad cut, but when my favorite stylist, China Martin, left, I was so sad. But I finally found her after a long search and I am so happy again! China is the best!

I have had horrible experiences in the past with hair salons cutting wayyyy to much hair off when I have only asked for a trim, however, I had my hair cut today by Milla and I love how my hair looks and feels now. She did an outstanding job. I loved it so much I left a $28 tip.
