I had my hair cut and colored many times throughout the years at this salon. I find myself leaving for a long period of time but still coming back eventually. I think the main reason I always come back is that the hours of operation are so convenient. It's hard to get a last minute appointment at other salons but with Gene Juarez it's very easy, because of the amount of stylist they have. I thought for the price and for it being GJ that I would leave loving my services,(the power of branding), but in reality the place is just another salon chain where mistakes happen. It was sort of a middle of the road hair experience. I have had better, and I have had worse. There were definitely errors made when my balayage was done. I asked for cool toned, got warm. Today was my second time to the salon and I'm still just as impressed as I was on my first visit. Thank you Gabrielle (color) and Kentron (cut and style) for making me look and feel fabulous! Already looking forward to my next appointment.

The rating is for Harlow, who is amazing and knows my hair so well. I haven't had hair this manageable in years. It's hard to find a designer who will listen to your concerns and give good feedback. I've been happy with every designer and colorist I've visited at Gene Juarez throughout the years, but Harlow is magic.

The colorists are experts, they listen, know what cool tones are vs. warm, and will fix it until you're happy...worth the time and money to have what you want.

This is a shout out for the front desk staff at this Gene Juarez location. I traveled to 3 different locations in the last week to find the $$ shampoo that I love, and all were out of stock. At the other 2 locations, (including where I have been getting my haircut for 10 yrs), no one offered to do anything about it, or bothered to look in their system to tell me that all locations were out of it. I've been coming to this salon for years . If you need a colorist, book Kelsy. If you need a stylist, book Harlo . Awesome salon with a great customer experience . Seriously, if you're not 100% in love with the end result , say something and they'll do a re-do with no problem. They are worth the cost.

Dylan for brows! I've been going to her for over 10 years and I can't say enough about how amazing she is. I've had people stop me to ask who does my brows, they're that good. She's helped so many of my friends and family fix their brows. Prices keep going up, but she's well worth it. I've tried other places -- closer to home, cheaper -- every time I've gone back to her.

Scarlett is amazing! I've gotten my deep tissue massages with her these past couple months and she's been great! Really has helped alieviate my upper back pain.
