3rd day calling in a row so not have someone pick up the phone for more than 3 minutes. Also, the first day I called after being on hold for 9 minutes someone finally answered and took down my number and said that they would call me back and it's been 3 and no call back. Worst customer service.

I went here for a massage opposed to my normal Redmond Gene Juarez. First off, the massage was good and that was fine, but the atmosphere really threw me off. It wasn't relaxing at all. The room was sooooo small that you wait in and no one offered me water or tea, etc, and I couldn't find it so I had to ask for it while going into my massage. This Gene Juarez location has a very friendly staff. I went to get a haircut on Friday, June 16th. The girl who did my haircut was nice, and chatted with me as she cut my hair. I told her I always get Lucy Hale's haircut, and I was due for a trim, and I wanted to add bangs. She seemed to understand what I was asking for. Once she cut and dried my hair, I began to notice that the top layers were framing my face, while the chunks underneath were hanging stick straight. And it was FLAT. I had asked for more volume. Worst customer service. The girl who cut my hair was very rude and disrespectful. She rushed the cut and didn't style or used any hair products on my hair. I was so surprised. I ended up complaining to the manager and she didn't seem to care much either. She said oh that's strange. Hmmm! Really? I am tired of the hit and miss services I have received in the past few years and going to find myself a new salon.

Booked myself a massage to relax. My massage was wonderful, completely relaxing. I had Rae for my appointment and she did a fantastic job. I really enjoyed how she incorporated breathing into the massage to really add to the relaxation. She did a complete full body, including scalp, face, fingers and toes. She is very talented and I would not hesitate to recommend her. She gets a full 5 stars. The reason I for the low start review is the spa space. They're absolutely terrible here. So rude and such horrible service. I came here for a bang trim. I called to make sure they have availability as they don't make Apts, they told me they had 3 people available at 2pm. So I drove 40 minutes to get here and was here at 1:53 only to be told that they made a mistake and that no one was available until 3pm. First time coming into this store. I've been to few different Gene Juarez Salons in the past. Today a friend and I walked into to check out the pricing and if they were busy or not. Pricing was fine, we were going to stop back and hopefully get in later. While we were walking away to do some shopping we were chased after by an employee saying that we had stolen makeup and that she was going to call security. We had been in there for maybe 5 minutes. Didn't get what I came in for. They didn't care. Told me to wash my hair a few times and it will "look better." Came in for icy blonde foils and balayage combo. Left with brassy and PURPLE tones throughout my hair. Near the roots my hair is icy, the middle is brassy, around my face is purple and the ends are a good mix of everything. Ver disappointed with my experience here. I had called to make an appointment to have my hair colored. The girl on the phone made the appointment then asked if I wanted any other services with the cut. I told her no, I did not need a cut, I want to do color. So she had to find a different appointment.
