This was my last failed attempt at trying this place. I went for a 5.45 appointment leaving my 2 year old. After turning up ahead of time and waiting for 30 minutes and two reminders, they said it might be another ten minutes before the stylist was done with no remorse. They act like an aggregator of stylists and not like a place where they manage their customers

Just brought my daughter here for a cut a color. I will start with the good. She got a fantastic hair cut for back to school. Now here is why one star. We were told $150 for both the cut and foil. In the end she got a small strip of blue in the front, with no coloring on top or the back like originally discussed when I dropped her off. No big deal. I don't know what has happened but Gene Juarez is not the boutique salon it once was.......the hold time to make an appointment is outrageous, the front desk staff is no longer as friendly and professional as they once were, was not asked if I wanted a robe or something to drink and the waiting area is full of dirty cups and napkins.......the ONLY reason I return is that I have an incredible stylist (Elle).

I'm done with this place. They must hate older women. This is the second time that this has happened to me by two different people. I normally have long hair. Normally that is.... I've been trying to get all of the color out of my hair and went in to get a cut. I told the girl that I needed to take off at least three inches, but to leave it no shorter than my shoulders and that I need enough hair to be able to put it in a pony tail. I made this very clear. I had a super bad experience. I went to my appointment on march 27 and the girl there did my hair somewhat what I wanted but I just went with it. As I hit the sun my way looked orange and yellowish. Told my friends and they recommended me to use blue shampoo so that didn't work it was still yellow. And I've been told I can call Juarez maybe they can so something. I really like my haircut and enjoyed my hairstylist but the front desk was so unexpectedly rude! When i walked in I was greeted and taken to the back room where I was told I may not fit into the robe due to being a "bigger girl". I was so shocked by this I didn't know how to react. No one should be treated this way. And the robe fit fine anyways, but Because of this I will not be going back to this location.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH CARTER! Consult started out ok until she grabbed my head forcibly turning it when I didnt hold it how she wanted. By the third time I had to tell her to stop. She should better explain what she was attempting to achieve instead of grabbing and pulling my head. Okay I'm officially done with this location. It has been very hit or miss, but this last visit will be my last visit. I had been going to the same person for the past four or so haircuts. I ask for face framers, a V in the back, NO layers throughout. She had told me a few times that layers throughout could make curling easier but I say no thank you every time. Cannot cut short hair!! I moved to Washington State 6 months ago. I've gone to this Salon 3 times. I gave them 3 chances.... First haircut was by Denise.
