Okay I'm officially done with this location. It has been very hit or miss, but this last visit will be my last visit. I had been going to the same person for the past four or so haircuts. I ask for face framers, a V in the back, NO layers throughout. She had told me a few times that layers throughout could make curling easier but I say no thank you every time. I went in Thursday, and this time I asked for the framers to be cut from the chin, then all the way down (think Jennifer Aniston or Reese Witherspoon face framers). ... read more

Cannot cut short hair!! I moved to Washington State 6 months ago. I've gone to this Salon 3 times. I gave them 3 chances.... First haircut was by Denise. She did what I wanted and apparently followed the line of my previous haircut which was in Virginia. Second haircut was NOT at all what I wanted. It was what Denise wanted to do. I always go here to get my eye brow waxed, they typically always do a great job. However, the women at the front desk that check you in and out are not pleasant at all. They all seem very unhappy, not polite and personable. The customer service is not consistent with the last people you see before you leave the salon

I visited GJ Lynnwood for the first time last December. My experience was awful, a hairstylist named Armondo (Armando) was rude, angry and unprofessional. I asked for a hairstylist at the front desk and they suggested Armando as the "available"option. I was busy and wanted my hair to be done the same day so I accepted to be helped by him even though I could feel he was not happy to help me due to a couple of comments he made to the receptionist about how busy he will be in one hour and this will be a "rush" for him. UPDATE: I was emailed by someone at Gene Juarez but it was definitely an overused form email. No one at this location is interested in improving customer relations. They must do away with their central phone center for booking appointments. More often than not I have waited on hold for over five minutes just to book an appointment or speak with someone at the salon. Not worth my time anymore. Moving on.

Have periodically come here for service over the years but when calling to cancel an appointment I was on hold for 5 or so minutes and when Trina picked up the phone she said "try to call back later and hung up on me.". I thought this very rude.

Have to agree the Lynnwood location is not as good as it used to be. Front desk staff inattentive in assisting customers who have been waiting a long time for their stylist to call them back.
