I had a random day in which I passed my exam and was like why not treat yourself to coloring. I hated to orange balayage and was going to go back to black. And this was a last minute decision so I randomly booked an appointment and got Jarzon. He was an interesting character and not your usual colorists that you'd get at gene guarez. First time visiting this location and was impressed with the personality of the front desk receptionist, and the salon space overall. It seems much larger than the UW location. Service: Ellen was wonderful in many ways! I loved my spa pedicure and manicure - pain free filing, clipping, and overall gentleness. My legs, feet, and hands were buttery soft when I left and I'm looking forward to my next visit!

So I have had Tori cancel on me the day of my appointment for the second time already.. will just avoid scheduling with her in the future as it ends up being a big inconvenience. Lobby and front desk are always pleasant and then the couple services I had were decent, not exactly the outcomes I was hoping for but my hair can be a little difficult. But the scheduling system online is pretty nice to use and you can usually get in within a couple weeks.

I have been coming here for years. While the prices are rather steep, i do like that i can typically get in for an appointment relatively soon, and my service has always been great! I have had my hair colored, foiled and balayage by several different girls over the last 5 years or so, and have never had a bad experience. Prices can vary widely depending on the experience level of the colorist. I have been colored by people with less experience and by the most experienced/expensive colorists like Hong & Susan. for what i get ... read more

UPDATE We came back in today and worked with Carrie,Ashley and Susan. They were all amazing and empathetic, helped us create a plan to restore my daughters hair. I appreciate the quick respsonse and doing the right thing to help fix this unpredictable situation. This is a great team and I truly appreciate them owning the situation the way they did. After a "full foil" at another salon gone wrong (that's another story lol), I decided to go to GJ to fix it because I knew I'd be in good hands and customer satisfaction is important to them! I made an appointment with Susan for a full foil. Susan is such a treat--she's so sweet and I looove that she told me exactly what her plan was for our session. Had such a great experience here today. Covid is a tough time to get it right. Thank you Southcenter Gene Juarez. I had a full balayage (somewhere else) that didn't exactly go the way I wanted it to and I was super disappointed. It was way too light and I finally decided to go somewhere that would fix it if I wasn't happy without charging me AGAIN. Bottom line - I would *highly* recommend Georgia for color. I highly recommend Rosa and Desiree for haircuts . Those ladies bring so much positivity and energy while they work to make you feel beautiful. Maria D, is now working at this location and I recommend her for brow arches and waxing/facial needs!!

Five stars for Jordan and her amazing haircuts. Jordan doesn't mind that I have her do something different every time I see her. I love trying different styles, and I'm terrible at describing what I want, but some how she gets me. I also love that she speaks up, and gives me suggestions. Could not be happier. Plus, she's got a great personality, so I look forward to the visit. A ++ on the COVID protections. Thanks for keeping us safe!
