I really appreciate the great customer service I receive at the Puyallup Gene Juarez. I am always welcomed by name and with a smile. The atmosphere is relaxed and soothing which is exactly what I'm looking for to unwind from a hectic day. I recommend taking the time to pamper yourself with a facial or a mani/pedi. The team of experts will help you find the right products from hair care to skin care.
The DT location changed everything for the better! I arrived in need of a correction hair cut. After decades, I returned to GJ and developed new relationships with with both a colorist and haircut artists and have been very satisfied with their work. The atmosphere is relaxing and I appreciate that I don't have to go to the mall.
I love my stylist. We have been together for 10'years. However the new location in Tacoma SUCKS. Sterile atmosphere- bare white walls, stylists lined up in a row with no barriers, operating room lights, no music. YUCK. I won't be back after 20 yrs with Gene Juarez. Kinda sad

After an expensive and disappointing men's haircut I emailed them directly and later left a 1 star review here on Yelp. To their credit they made things right with a refund and apology. Updated rating to reflect the customer service they provided after aforementioned email and yelp review.

I recently received a Classic Facial from Aurea. It was a great mix of relaxation, while also providing the space to ask and address skin care questions and concerns. For a classic facial, my skin felt so hydrated and was glowing for days afterwards. I have combo-dry skin, and Aurea gave me great advice in regard to my skincare routine. With a couple of her recommended tweaks, my skin has IMPROVED and has stayed hydrated and glowy. I would definitely recommend Aurea - she is professional, knowledgeable, and conscientious.
Every single time I have came here to get my daughters bangs cut the customer service has been amazing. I met with Heather today and she cut my hair. She was amazing! I am so in love with my haircut! I was so scared of such a huge change in my hair but she directed me in the right way.
Hadn't had my hair cut since February 2020 and it was feeling wild. I clicked "Select Any Stylist" and was so happy that I got Kristen! She knew all about my wavy hair and gave me a fabulous cut and style. Plus she was so nice and made me feel totally comfortable. Thank you so much, Kristen, I'll be back!
I've been going to Gene Juarez since I was a teenager and they've done a great job every time!
