I like that that Green Choice Energy provides 100% renewable energy, and they plant a tree on my behalf. Thier sales agent was polite and knowledgeable.

This company is a huge scam ! DO NOT PROVIDE YOUR BILL, CUSTOMER NUMBER OR SIGNATURE. SHOW THEM THE DOOR.***************************, Agent ****** came to my door claiming he was with PSE&G doing maintenance work "on my therms", that they were already done and he just needed me to log in to my online portal and sign off on it.Only when I asked to see his badge did I realize he was lying and not from PSE&G. Only then did I realize he was in reality trying to sell something to me.Sleazy if not illegal sales tactics.
Some time in September 2023, a representative from RPA Energy/Green Choice came to my door to inform me that it was the time of the year to make a choice of my energy supplier. She seemed very nice, and stepped me through the process of doing so. However, she didn't inform me of the implications of this, and that this would significantly increase my PSEG bill for electric and gas. IYour door-to-door representative, *******, came to my door today. He told me how to get $50 off my monthly bill for the next 12 months. I asked him about six times or more if this would change anything to my current account with BGE because I did not want anything changed, and he kept saying nothing would change. A young man came to my apartment door today (how he got into the building, I have no idea). He started telling me about a program that could save me money on my utility bill, and that his company worked with several different energy utilities (Consumer's, DTE, etc.). He spoke very quickly, like he was in a hurry. *** came to my door, looked at my energy bill and told me he wanted to give me some cash back as a thank you. Took all my info and wanted me to accept and sign the agreement to get the cash back. The statement said that in agreement I will be switching to Green Choice Energy. I asked him 6, 7, **** times if this was to switch my energy supplier.
