People that came in after us got their food before us so wait times were slow. Some food was barely warm by the time it did get to us.

Our server had several large tables who demanded a lot of her time but we went with empty glasses multiple times. Had to ask for more water, another drink, and the check. The volume in the restaurant was the loudest I have ever seen here. People were yelling - like standing up at their table yelling across the table to people in their party- this went on for over a hour. Very poor experience with food and service. We frequent Grindstone Public House and love it but Monon location is not near as good.

I sent a message 4 hours before our appt that we had to move our arrival time back 45 minutes due to a change. We never got a message back acknowledging the change. Once we arrived server was very slow to come to our table. Neither the food or server did not come back to our table for at least 30 minutes. I asked the server about our food and it all came out. I ordered the chicken and noodles, which was served over mashed potatoes. I was very disappointed. There was a tiny blob of potatoes, covered with a bunch of gravy, a few noodles, and a couple pieces of chicken with cold green beans on the side. All for $15.

I was really disappointed during this visit. We did not receive a warm welcome when we arrived. Almost seemed like we were an inconvenience even though we had a reservation. Our server did not seem to want to help my dad choose a beer when he asked what was on tap. The floor under our table had food and crayons under it from a previous group. Several of our meals were not warm when served. I have dined here many times before with no issues. Not this time.

It took 45 minutes to receive any food. They didn’t bring out our appetizer and then instead of bringing it out quickly after delivering dinner, they canceled it. We ate lighter dinners knowing we had ordered an appetizer. The waitress told us it was just busy and at no point seemed concerned. We stopped at a drive thru on way home since they failed to bring us the food we ordered. Discounting food does little to help hungry kids.
