Time to approve the job on the phone with the mechanic was excessive, 29 minutes is TOO long. Mechanics are not wanting to do work with warranty companies because of this.
Had to call twice to get the proper claims agent. First fellow did not know how to direct us to the pre-ownded coverage.
I called into the toll free number and spoke to GWC warranty. Representative explained what I needed to share with the auto shop and my claim was processed and I had my vehicle back in 3 days. Best part was I only had to pay $100.00.
Covered everything they should have. For some reason the rate GWC paid per hour was $5 less than my BMW shop, so I had to pay about $75. Given the extent of the repairs, I was OK with it. But it was strange.

The selling dealer (Lorenzo Ford) lied about a known pre-existing A/C issue that ended up costing $1,500 to fix. GWC understood I was scammed, and they covered the full repair cost as Goodwill even though they technically could have denied the claim as a pre-existing issue. Every time I called GWC throughout the claim process, they were very empathetic and kept me up to date on the status. I am blown away by how good GWC is to work with and I will buy another exclusionary policy from GWC in the future.
I ended up paying for half the bill. I was told wrong information and I'm seriously considering cancelling the service.
Did not cover much and argued with my mechanic over a part that the manufacturer said not to put in my car.
