Won't print on cardstock! I have had this computer for 2 days and it's going back. I have wasted so much paper trying to color print on card stock. Even when I select the thick paper setting it ruins my prints. When I send a file to print it also pulls the paper through and prints garbled text, once again ruining my paper. Can't wait to repackage this baby and return it. Hopefully the next printer will get the job done.
DO NOT BUY BROTHER!!!!! I have this printer for 10 months - I have a small business - I print labels. This printer has printed everything OK (not always perfect - but OK) up until now. Now it will not print on any glossy paper, it jams every time the paper tries to load, through both the drawer and the bypass tray. On the off chance it does load into the machine the image prints out crooked... If You Want To Print Wirelessly, Look Elsewhere! Although this prints quite well when connected by USB, it's pretty much useless if you want to print wirelessly. I've literally just spent five hours trying to get it to print wirelessly and it won't. And I know my way around computers and peripherals, including networking. If you want to buy a good printer there are other "just printers" on the market ... How could you sell something that only prints???!!!!!!! I purchased this looking for an all in one. Worth the purchase just to save money on toner. Bought this because we print a lot and the cost per page is supposedly far lower. It looks as if the Super High yield Black toner will cost us about 1/4 what we used to spend on toner, and the Super High yield color toner cartridges will cost us a little more than 1/2 what we spent on color toner with our old color laser printer. Slow and toner is expensive Very slow printer (stops in the middle of printing before finishing) also I have had a hard time with toner. After only a few months of using we decided to get a different printer. We purchased off brand toner and after a week the toner starts to leak and prints dots on the pages. We switched to brother brand and dont have that issue but went thru the toner so fast it wasn't cost effective to keep using.
It would be nice if it could print an envelope It would be nice if it could print an envelope. You can follow the diagram on the little drop-down tray, and all it will ever tell you is "Paper Jam". Be careful... pay VERY close attention that your search results This Brother HLL8360CDW is NOT an all-in-one even though it comes up as one when searching Amazon. Now I have to pay nearly $50 to return it and the toner I purchased for it. Doesn't seem right. Not Brother Printer's fault. It's an issue with Amazon's search engine.
