Not working any more Worked well since purchased less than a year ago but now shows paper jam which cannot be found as I have searched all the modules in the machine, and I have yet to find a way to reboot it
Very disgusted, not what I was looking for at all in a printer I own a small business and bought this printer to print labels for my products. For 4 months I have wrestled with this printer. I can only feed one sheet at a time of Avery labels. It jams constantly, to fix the jam, I have to take the whole front of the printer off. This printer is mediocre at best. This printer is mediocre at best. I have owned 6-7 other brother printers in the past and this is by far the one that hassles me the most. It is constantly going "offline" even when I check the touchscreen on the top and it shows connected to my wifi, I am constantly having to restart my computer if I havent used the printer in the last 2-3 hours. Will not print Lables I bought this printer to print labels for a Historical group and the first time it printed them but since it has ceased to be able to print them at all , it jams all the time. It will only print sheet stock. I would not buy this printer again.
BLURRY So unhappy with this printer. I really needed a good quality printer and no matter what diagnostics I run, text is still extremely blurry. Also, future purchasers be aware: THIS PRINTER CANNOT MAKE COPIES. An assumption on my part but I thought a laser printer would also make copies.
I only like jam on toast. For the life of me I cannot get this machine to stop jamming. Every time I try to print double sided, it jams. Tech support was nice, but were not able to resolve the issue. New drivers didn’t resolve the issue. The printer sits on top of a table so a level surface is not the issue. I give up. I’ve printed a total of about 350 pages and now it’s low on toner. ENVELOPES ARE NOT EASY TO PRINT What they don't tell you is that, to print an envelope, you have to open the back of the machine, flip two levers, and leave the back of the machine open (making the space needed for an already large printer even deeper). Once the envelopes are printed, you have to flip the levers back and close the back of the printer. You have to do this for EVERY ENVELOPE ALL DAY LONG. Also, it takes at least a full minute to wake from "sleep mode," so there is drag before it prints something for you.
Off color prints& won't come out of sleep mode I REALLY wanted to like this printer, as it came highly regarded on independent consumer review websites. However, I had the same issues that some others were reporting in the Amazon reviews: Colored prints that were either too light or too dark. If I sent them from the PC, they came out too light. If I loaded the same PDF file to a flash drive and plugged it directly into the printer, the colors came out too dark. I messed with all of the settings, troubleshoot guide suggestion... read more
