I had an excellent experience working with Dana Uyeno at Ashley Furniture. She did a fantastic job helping me design and select furniture for my Waikiki short-term rental. Furnishing a home in Hawai'i can be challenging since much of the furniture must be shipped from the mainland by barge, but Dana made the entire process seamless. Keito Miyagi was wonderful to work with. The selection is also very good. I gave 4 stars for Keito and the other sales associates we've met over our various visits but took a star because we ended up canceling our order for a new beset because we first wanted to buy it in September before Labor Day and the estimated delivery date was for February 2026. We cancelled this order last week, and using furniture on island. Not Keito's fault, but supply chain is just unacceptable to wait 6 months. My aunt moved from Hilo to Honolul... read more

A difficult experience buying and getting my furniture delivered. It has taken 4 months, and was told 4 months later when the furniture was scheduled, that the four chairs had "disappeared," and to order again. But of course, I was suggested more expensive chairs. However, Jeremy, the manager at Homeworld Honolulu gave me a call, and is fixing the situation by getting my furniture finally delivered on Oct 27 in the afternoon. Fingers crossed the furniture I paid for in July finally comes!

IF YOU GO TO HOMEWORLD ON BERETANIA ... SEE TOMMY Tommy is very knowledgeable about what you might need. I went in to purchase a lift chair and Tommy gave me all the different options at the different prices. He went into my past purchases and found a similar chair that I had purchased five years ago. From start to finish, my purchase of a new power recliner was excellent. Salesperson Travis Oh listened to my "needs" list and steered me only to options that met my criteria. Great! Delivery (and removal of old recliner) was 10 days later, smoothly and professionally handled by their team.

This Honolulu location is very convenient as they have a free parking lot right there and it is surrounded another wonderful furniture store Red Knot/Ashley . I like to explore furniture options and ideas, so this location knocked out 2 stores in one visit. I was looking specifically for a recliner/couch and was welcomed by Travis at the entrance. I just bought a nice couch from HomeWorld and had a wonderful experience with the salesperson Van Kusatsu. Not only was he EXTREMELY HELPFUL but also PATIENT, FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL and made me feel welcome. He helped me make my decision to buy the couch because of his friendliness, professionalism and being so patient. HomeWorld is fortunate to have an employee that cares about their customers as Van does.
