I just bought a nice couch from HomeWorld and had a wonderful experience with the salesperson Van Kusatsu. Not only was he EXTREMELY HELPFUL but also PATIENT, FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL and made me feel welcome. He helped me make my decision to buy the couch because of his friendliness, professionalism and being so patient. HomeWorld is fortunate to have an employee that cares about their customers as Van does.

I really can't say enough good things about this HomeWorld location. They have a ton of great inventory, an assortment which I believe would allow for everyone to find something within their style preference. We had a few good couch options to choose from. Tommy is an excellent sales person and I am very thankful for his patience and time. The gold star for me was Chelsea, the customer service manager. Went in just to browse around after having a bad experience with the other furniture store on Kapi'olani! Our salesperson, Mercy helped us and showed us an array of choices to look through, long story short , we ended up buying furniture for our whole house and was so satisfied with Mercy's knowledge of all of the items she had shown us that we came back the next month and bought another sofa! Thank you Homeworld , and props to Mercy too! She was a pleasure to work with , no stress and easy to talk to! Mahalo

I'm visiting this store for the first time with my nephew, Richard, but he has been here multiple times over the past five years. He always buys several pieces of furniture and decorations for his Airbnbs. The store provides great service and excellent prices, so he keeps returning. This time, he was assisted by Tee, the sales associate, and AJay, who were both very helpful in helping him pick out furniture and making the process easy. Pros: Outstanding service from people that care about their work. Shoutout to Ty, Kino, and Barbie! Ty was very considerate and looking for ways to help. Kino was resourceful and showed me how to disassemble the sofa back rest. Barbie has the best memory and always recalls what we discussed in our last convo. Cons: Prep yourself for sticker shock because many items are way more expensive than one might expect. Overpriced furniture. They used to have almost a total lock on the furniture market and could charge whatever they wanted almost. Nowadays there's more competition but their prices are still high. My cousin priced out a Tommy Bahama dining room set at CS Wo (part of HW) and it was actually slightly more than half their cost to bring it in from the mainland shipping included. We were needing a lift chair asap for my dad. Steven I. was super helpful showing all the options and tracing what was in stock and in size. Although our initial purchase didn't go thru, Steven contacted me immediately when one miraculously came in stock...saving us from searching and waiting eight weeks at other stores. That's service!
