Homeworld on Beretania is connected to Slumberworld and CS Wo. Big lot. I felt like it was in Alice in Wonderland, how the scenery kept changing! I didn't even know I entered CS Wo until the sales person mentioned how different quality their furniture was than Homeworld's. I walked around Homeworld, ventured into CS Wo's, and back to Homeworld before a customer service person asked if I needed help. Fantastic customer service. I went in right before closing. The salesperson didn't rush me. I ended up spending $3700.
Large selection, price seems ok but they did not have what we liked. And the quality did not meet. Once we had purchased the whole cedar furniture, so excited with the new furniture set. My BF got allergic reaction from the cedar fumes? or chinese wood treatment? They needed to be returned. Cedar keeps bugs away, could damage your sweetheart too. Homeworld has a good selection of furniture to choose from, and their workers are very friendly and helpful. They seem to be pretty fast with their turnaround, unless you're ordering custom-made furniture. They said they can usually get a piece out to your house within 3-5 days. Oh, and if you're not totally sure if you're ready to buy something, you can put down 10% and they'll reserve it for you. If you choose not to buy it, they'll refund you in full. Pretty sweet!
Beautiful quality furniture that lasts. I don't mind coming here because the sales folks aren't overly aggressive like some places. They let you know they are available to assist while giving just enough space. There's just enough of a selection to keep me interested, but not so much that it overwhelmed. If you have just moved to Oahu and can't figure out where all the furniture stores are, they are all in this building. (There is also a Homeworld in Aiea, which is reviewed separately on Yelp. I do not believe that shop has as many components, but I could be wrong.) The Beretania complex includes Homeworld, CS Wo ( for higher-end furniture), La-Z-Boy, Natuzzi, and Matress World. Homeworld promised a delivery of a recliner for my father who is blind and in assisted living. We called them four times, which the first three times they assured us that the recliner would be delivered while a relative was there to receive it. On the fourth call, Sharon decided to cancel my order because I wanted the delivery when promised. I would advise not to shop here.

I have downgraded my original 5 star review to 1 star due to an experience with there second delivery team who damaged the freshly painted walls and trim in my home, the new very expensive bed frame they delivered and refused to reinstall the mattress they took off and moved to another room that was on the bed frame they removed and replaced and when I called and spoke to a manager I was told "It's out of our hands because we use a 3rd party delivery service" then my salesperson explained he wanted to help but could not beca... read more

Recently relocated. Visited the Homeworld on Beretania. Disappointed in the selection & the arrangement of the store. Matching pieces not located together, no definitive "rooms" so you have to wander the entire store to see what they have instead of being in the bedroom area, dining, living etc. Makes it harder to compare. Didn't appreciate the hard sell of the guy who greeted us.
