Doug M. came out today for an AC tune-up. I just closed on my house in October and the seller had saved paperwork saying that I would get a free tune-up this year. Horizon had no issues transferring the free service over to me so we were already off to a good start there. Doug did an extremely thorough check of everything (and used those feet bags so as to keep my house clean!), and explained a lot of things to me along the way. Douglas M. came out to fix my AC. He was knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. In the end, it was a simple fuse replacement. Overall a good first experience with Horizon.
We just had a visit from Nicholas S., plumbing technician. His visit was prompted by the utility sink in our basement leaking. We called Horizon at 2:45 p.m., and he showed up at 4p.m. He was prompt, courteous and was able to resolve our issue quickly. Great job Nick. This was not our first time calling Horizon, and we have found their service to be consistently good.
Well, I see a lot of negative comments regarding Horizon. However, they came out today to check my unit which is 7 years old and I have not had any maintenance since it was installed (it was not installed or purchased from Horizon). The service and work did cost more than I planned or expected, but I feel good about the fact that my units (air and heater) are properly cleaned and updated for more efficient working condition and better safety. My two interactions with your company have been great. The first was for a tune up on my 11 year old system, and the second was to quote me on replacing my system with a heat pump and new furnace. Both the technician and the salesman were great. Both very polite and answered my questions. I will definitely call Horizon Services in the future.
Thanks to Horizon Services, I am enjoying my new gas heat after 2 days without heat. Brian, Tony & Tellez were all very professional and worked all day(10 hrs) in the cold to replace my 70+yr oil furnace with a gas one. Their customer service goes above and beyond. They even check my water before leaving and found a frozen pipe and fixed it before it became a bigger mess. Very thorough and helpful. Oh and thanks Pete & Dave for helping bring it all together.
