So I called Horizon to schedule a heater tune-up.......ok so maybe I am a little late this year making the appointment. I have had them come last year and really liked their service, and also their commercials. To my SURPRISE , because I wasn't interested in buying their service plan, the first available appointment to come out to do a heater tune was February 20th.........Yes Feb 20th !!!!! Well I guess you have lost another customer ........ didn't see that in the commercials and advertising.
These people blatantly lied to us about what we needed to have a toilet reseated and a pedestal sink raised. The “service man” who came had a filthy shirt on and stunk of smoke. The estimate for the toilet alone was $1300, with the sink it was gong to be well over $2500. He told us all of our pipes would have to be replaced. Stay away from them-they are clearly out to gouge the customer.
Just for the mere fact that you have invaded the peacefulness of my backyard in Central Bucks with a plane flying around with your banner, I will never use your service. This is not the Jersey Shore!!
Horrible!!! First I had them come out for a bathroom leak I had that was forming a water stain in my kitchen ceiling. They couldnt figure out where the leak was coming from and wanted to charge me a crazy amount to figure it out including cutting holes in my ceiling and charging for that and not patching it up. I youtubed it and figured it out myself...it was a $2 fix. Wanted to give them a second chance so hired them to fix my HVAC system. So far they came out because upstairs a/c wasn't working yesterday. I refused to call the company that put it in because we have to call them every year to fix something instead of fixing the route of the problem. Somehow we are getting a new a/c unit and both furnaces needed to be replaced because of cracks. Reading the previous reviews I'm worried we are getting ripped off and someone else can fix it for way cheaper. Stuck in a finance plan for the next 11 years to replace everything. The options for repair and servicing seem pretty overpriced, but I had a good experience with Pat D., our technician. He was a very nice guy, interacted very professionally and was very pleasant to our child and our dog who was jumping all over him. He put on shoe covers before coming into our home, which was nice.
Our boiler stopped working on Sunday the first week in spring 2017. We called our local guy, who didn't have anyone to send. As runners, we were familiar with Horizon for their race sponsorships, which we appreciate, because they sponsor small runs that struggle for dollars. The Horizon tech came out at 1.35 am, which was within the time frame of 10 and 2 am that we agreed to. We requested a quote for a replacement AC system and to resolve cooling issues within the house. I was very specific with my needs and it was like pulling teeth to get an appropriate answer. When I asked for a more detailed proposal of services I was met with resistance. They advertise an apples to apples comparison, but only when they get to perform the comparison.
