App continuously is not able to automatically update the firmware and customer service is only open during the week. Also, the controls to turn the Alpha iQ+ left or right when trying to use the lift out of the pool, do not turn on or off when touch and when they do cause the Alpha iQ+ to continously turn. App is connected to the internet with full strength, this is a product bug, please fix! The full basket indicator also illuminates, when the basket is not full.

Like many others, after the app has been opened on my phone and then sits idle for any period of time, I have to force it closed and then reopen the app before I'm able to do anything. You can't make schedule changes via the app. Schedule adjustments have to be done online with a browser. The program online is vintage 1990's. You can't pause a program so if you need to run your pumps for 48 hours you have to delete the schedule and then reprogram later. Don't forget to hit the save button!

Unreliable. Constantly have to reset system. Lighting changes are the most archaic clunky design you could imagine. I guess when you have a captive market you can get away with mediocrity.

Very unreliable with app. WiFi access point is about 8' from aqualink antenna. Signal is very good. Web page on a computer seems stable.

The app fails to handle the different android activity lifecycles gracefully. It appears that once the app goes into a paused state, it's impossible to resume and have the app function properly. I've simply gotten in the habit of force killing it and reopening it to ensure proper functionality. Otherwise commands will act like they've succeeded but they won't actually be run or the app will just completely fail to operate as expected.
