Excellent hair color and gloss. I felt better about coloring my hair knowing Madison Reed color dye is not toxic. Staff were extremely professional and experienced colorist.
I had the pleasure of reviving a color service from this new salon. I was greeted by Tephanie, at the front desk, with a hot tea. My visit was pleasant. The service is set up to be as efficient as possible. Make your appointment online, get a text confirm and then just show up. The salon has magazines but just bring your iPhone or iPad and plug in. There is WiFi and outlets at every station. Also there are purse hooks. From start to finish, I was very impressed! First off, I loved the ease of appointments with their online scheduling and text-friendly reminders. Very convenient! I had a wonderful experience here. The salon is very modern, clean, and has a great vibe. My hairstylist was Shama. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was my first time at a color bar and I didn't know what to expect. Shama explained the treatments and recommend what she thought was best for my hair. This place is awesome! I wish I could give more than five stars. The service was great. It was the first time getting my hair colored and it could not have been a better experience. I came with Pinterest photos and my stylist was able to help me pick out the perfect color for me without the change being too dramatic. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with warmth and eagerness. The salon is clean, bright and just overall cheery. My colorist, Jovana, was friendly and made me feel right at home. This is the first Madison Reed location that I've been to. I came in not knowing exactly what I want and what to expect. I always thought that one of the biggest pet peeves for EVERY hair stylist was unprepared and indecisive customers. Not these women who work at this location! They are so patient, talkative, and kind. If you haven't heard or tried Madison Reed, I highly suggest going here for your next color. This location has only been around for about one month, but they are busy! This is a relatively new company, about 4 years old. It was originally started online to help cover grey hair. They have now opened 2 stores in New York and two in the north bay with more to come.
